But I knew he was right, birthday or not, we did have shit to do, so I got up.

“Who you got back there?” Bobby asked.

“Lo-Lo and Anya.”

“Oh,” he said looking disappointed as I went in the room. The reason for that was that Lo-Lo made it clear to him that neither one of them would give him any pussy under any circumstance.

“We are yours, Black,” Lo-Lo explained to me. “We know that you fuck with other women.”

“Like Michaela,” Anya spit out, rolled her eyes and looked away. More about Michaela in a second.

“But unlike them two scandalous skanks he be fuckin’ with.” Lo-Lo shook her head like they disgusted her. “We don’t fuck with no other mutha fuckas. Pink Diamond and Jenae will jump on any dick that wave money in their face.”

“That is not how we doin’ this,” Anya told me.

“You are our man. We belong to you and you alone,” Lo-Lo said.

“Shit,” Anya said. “Don’t need no one

else.”

And I was pretty much theirs, I mean I really wasn’t fuckin’ anybody else but them. Not really anyway, because I really didn’t need to. Trust me, Anya and Lo-Lo were enough to handle, but that does bring me back to Michaela.

After getting snatched up and held at gunpoint, she, quite intelligently, decided that having me in her life was exciting, and definitely satisfying, but was too dangerous for her. So, like I said, at this point, it was pretty much me, Anya and Lo-Lo. And shit, I’m good with that.

After I got dressed and said goodbye to my girls, we headed out to Kennedy Airport to try and catch up with Jay Solomon. We were looking for him hoping that he would lead us to Simon Parrish, who called himself a venture capitalist. He lost a hundred thousand dollars gambling at one of my tables and didn’t have the money to cover.

Me and Bobby were about to show him the error of his ways, when Solomon stepped in and vouched for him. Since we had history with Solomon, and he was a regular player, we backed off, but it’s been two weeks and we haven’t heard from this fuck.

Me and Bobby went to see Solomon’s wife and once Bobby took the gun out of her mouth she told us that he was returning to New York on American Airlines flight 292 arriving from Los Angeles, at two thirty-four and we planned to be there to meet him. The reason that we had to leave so early was because Bobby knew a woman that worked security at Kennedy and she was going to get us into the gate area during her lunch break, so we had to get out there on time.

When we got there, she got us in the terminal and to our gate with no problem. Then she and Bobby disappeared so he could compensate her for services rendered. After that we waited. We ate and drank in one of the bars and I even got in a little nod before Bobby woke me up.

“He’s here,” Bobby said as passengers began exiting the plane and coming in to the terminal. We stood up and moved to a spot where Solomon wouldn’t see us until it was too late. I had no interest nor desire to have to chase him down.

When he got off the plane and headed toward baggage claim, me and Bobby were right behind him. As soon as he got there, we took him.

“Hello, Solomon,” Bobby said and grabbed his arm.

“Bobby?” he asked looking shocked to see him.

“How was your flight?” I asked, grabbing his other arm and I put my gun in his back.

“What’s going on?” Solomon asked, now he was looking scared.

“We need to talk,” I said.

“What about my luggage?” Solomon asked as we forcibly escorted him out of the terminal.

“You can come back for it,” I said.

“If you’re still alive,” Bobby said, and we took a cab back to where we left Bobby’s car. We gagged him and tossed his ass in the trunk and drove him back uptown. After what I am sure was a rough ride, we took Solomon in The Late Night to the storage room. Once we tied him to a chair, he sat there looking terrified while we took our time putting on our gloves. Then Bobby punched him in the chest before we took the gag out of his mouth.

“What’s up with this, Black?” Solomon asked, and Bobby punched him in the chest.

“Simon Parrish,” I said, and Bobby punched him in the chest again.

“Simon? What about him?” he asked, and Bobby punched him in the chest again.
