So, anyway, Bobby is on her, which left me with Toya. She was cute, had the type of playground that I liked playing on, but it was obvious that she really wasn’t feeling me, and I wasn’t feeling her. But it was a party; a birthday party, mine, Bobby’s was in two days. Needless to say, we were fucked up when we got there and like I said, Bobby was buying drinks like it was water, so we were all talking and having a good time.

But all the while, I got my eyes on a little thick cutie with a nice ass and titties that needed to be exposed before those rock-hard nipples cut through her blouse. We made eye contact, exchanged smiles and each of us had made it clear to the other that we weren’t with the person we were sitting next to. I was about to try to get her to get up from the table and meet me at the bar, when I noticed that Stephanie was whispering something to Bobby.

Whatever she said made his facial expression change to confusion. “Really,” she said and pointed at Toya.

“You’re kidding?” Bobby asked. She shook her head that she was not.

Toya leaned close to me. “She just told him that she doesn’t do men and she’s with me.”

“Really,” I said. It was definitely a statement and not a question because now, I was intrigued.

Bobby got up from the table. “I’ll be back, Mike,” he said and walked away.

Stephanie looked at Toya. “I’m gonna run to the ladies’ room.”

“I’m good,” Toya said.

As soon as Stephanie walked away from the table, our waitress came. “Y’all want another round?”

I drained my glass. “Sure, bring us another.” I dug in my pocket and dropped some money on her tray.

“You ain’t out too?”

I looked around for thick cutie; she was ghost. I looked at Toya.

“I’m good where I am.” For the time being, I thought but didn’t say.

It wasn’t like I hadn’t met lesbians before, but like I said, for some reason I was intrigued. Needless to say, Bobby never came back to the table, he found another woman to talk to. Stephanie didn’t either, she made her way to the bar and she found another woman to talk to. After a while, Bobby was telling me that he would get with me in the morning. So, it was just me and Toya.

Maybe it was because little thick cutie was gone or maybe it

was because I was suddenly and unexplainedly intrigued, or maybe we were both drunk, but me and Toya were having a good time.

“You’re all right, Mike,” Toya said and then she drained her glass.

“What?” I laughed. “I’m all right because I didn’t run away from you because you don’t like men?”

“I never said I didn’t like men. Stephanie doesn’t like men. I like men, I just like women too,” Toya said, which explained why I was suddenly and mysteriously intrigued with her. “I like you, Mike.”

Well, I guess since I’m in bed with both of them in the lower east side apartment they shared, you can tell what happened when Stephanie came back to the table. The three of us left together and caught a cab to their apartment which wasn’t far away. When we got there, I took off my coat and sat down on the couch while Toya and Stephanie whispered to each other and then Stephanie went into what I assumed was their bedroom.

“Would you excuse us for a few minutes?” Toya asked.

“Sure.”

“It may be more than a few, but don’t leave, okay?”

“I ain’t goin’ nowhere.”

Shit, I was fucked up. Fuck was I gonna do if they didn’t come back? I’d be cool crashing right here on this couch.

“Take your time.”

“Okay.” Toya took a few steps toward the room before turning and saying, “Don’t leave, Mike.”

“I told you, I ain’t goin’ nowhere.”

“You promise?” The smile on her face said she knew I wasn’t going anywhere because she had me right where she wanted me.
