“Good sweetheart. Because I love my women round, rosy, with a little special something extra, you hear? See you tonight, honey.”

And with that, he was dressed in a flash and out of the room. I lay back, pussy squeezing experimentally. Was this really h

appening? Was Mia Smith, a former virgin, in the middle of a dirty tryst with her boss?

But it was true and my heart pumped excitedly because with Theo Wainwright, there was no room for regret.

Chapter 10

Theo

Waiting for the valet to bring us my car, I caught myself staring at Mia again. The brunette was ungodly beautiful and dinner had been amazing. The food was exquisite, the wine one of a kind, but what made it even better was knowing that my girl had a three-million-dollar emerald buried in her cunt as we ate.

“Oh!” she gasped, eyes flicking up as I tugged the chain lightly. “Theo, not now!” she whispered, looking at the other diners with shocked eyes.

But I laughed because they couldn’t see. Besides, why did it matter what other people thought? Her long gown hid the chain and my movements took place discreetly under the table cloth. Shit, this gem was worth more than three million; it was priceless and I couldn’t wait to pull it out of her snatch all the way, dripping with female juices.

But curiously, our conversation grew serious in the privacy of my car because on the drive back, an email pinged on my phone. Carelessly my eyes glanced down, only to see that it was a report from my private investigator.

Shit.

Mia must have sensed my unease because the brunette put a hand on my knee, squeezing gently.

“You okay, big guy?”

I glanced over at her concerned face.

“Sure, fine, honey. No worries.”

She rubbed my thigh lovingly through the material. “You just got really quiet all of a sudden. Is something bothering you?”

I let out a slow breath. To tell or not to tell? Usually, I keep my private life private, but with this girl, all holds were off and I spilled the beans.

“It was the private investigator I hired,” I answered in a tense voice. “The one I retained to find my birth parents?”

A stunned pause.

“You hired someone?” she asked. “What did he find? Is everything okay?”

I shook my head.

“I don’t know to tell you the truth. I haven’t even looked at the email.”

The brunette was contemplative for a moment, saying nothing. “Are you afraid?”

Shit, this girl knew me too well and I sighed.

“I don’t know. Maybe. I’m a mix of emotions. I have all these made up fantasies of who my parents were and the reasons why they gave me up,” I admitted. “But what if they’re just trash? What if they never wanted me because they’re terrible people?”

Mia murmured soothingly before lifting my hand to kiss one rough palm. “You’ll still be who you’ve always been. That information doesn’t change anything. And if you decide ultimately that it’s better not to know, then that’s okay, too.”

My stomach relaxed a little, unclenching from a tight ball.

“Thanks, baby,” I said. “I appreciate that.”

She smiled again.

“Of course. You know,” she began slowly. “I don’t have a clue who my father is either.”
