She pushed back and moaned her pleasure, loud and vulgar, just how I fucking liked it.

“Fuck this pussy. Make me come,” she commanded, and I fucked her on all fours, hard and deep.

“This pussy is my pussy,” I grunted and held her hips, smacking her ass as I pounded over and over. “You’re so fucking close.”

“Not. Yet.”

I smiled and pushed her upper back to change the angle. “Soon,” I growled back at her. From this angle, I could fuck her soul if she had one. I fucked her so hard, she squirmed to get away even as moan after moan vibrated her body. “Real soon.”

She said nothing, just pushed against me. “Yes. Harder. Deeper.”

I gripped her hips so hard I knew she would have bruises tomorrow, and thrust just as she wanted until my cock was so hard it ached. My balls tightened, and I let out a long roar.

“Come for me, Sadie. Now.”

She froze for just a second at my command, but she was powerless to stop the powerful orgasm that ripped from her body. Her knees gave out, and she collapsed.

“Just what I needed.” She turned and smiled up at me, that soft smile that never failed to make me want her just a little more, if that was even possible.

“Yeah?” I leaned forward and kissed my way from her pussy all the way up to her mouth, making her squirm and shiver with aftershocks.

“Fuck, yeah.”

Just what I wanted to hear, that I was just what she needed. “Good night, Sadie.”

Her body slowly relaxed and sank into her plush bed, a slow, satisfied smile crossed her face. A little purr escaped.

“Night, Thomas. Thank you for coming to get me.”

I smiled at her words but quickly shrugged them off. That wasn’t the real Sadie, that was the drunk, sexually satisfied Sadie. I loved them both, but I knew the real Sadie. She would say something like, “Thanks for making me come.”

I dressed quickly and took the rear staircase to my own quarters. Instead of a shower, I crawled into bed with the scent of Sadie surrounding me.

Chapter Thirteen

Sadie

“What the fuck do they want now?”

Jasper paced the length of the sitting room while we waited for the police to show up. Thanks to one of the cops on my payroll, I got a call about an hour ago to let me know that Agents Beck and Marshall would be at the Manor soon. And with a warrant.

“We pay for info, not just a heads up.”

I sighed, taking a pull on my cigarette. “Calm down, Jas. We knew they were coming and that’s enough.” His gaze locked with mine and I arched a brow. “You were the one who insisted that patrol officers were the way to go.”

“Yeah, I did, but I’m correcting it now.”

That didn’t stop the pacing. If anything, he seemed to speed up his pace, as if he could outrun what was about to happen.

“I know. But I have my family here, and everything will be all right.” It was usually Kat or Calvin’s role to make everyone feel better, but this was my shit, which meant it was my job today. Kat’s worried expression told me she didn’t have the same confidence I did that this would all work out in my favor. Cal looked indifferent to the outcome, more focused on bouncing Ava Rose than looking at me. Virgil was ready to bash some skulls, and Jasper continued to beat himself up over my imminent arrest.

Probably because he’d tried time and again to stop me from this vengeance quest, and I wouldn’t. Hell, I couldn’t.

The demons inside me needed it.

The buzz of the front gate as it opened silenced the room. Andrew Castro, my attorney, stood and faced me.

“I know you like to take charge, Sadie. But I need you to listen to me carefully. Don’t let Agent Beck goad you into making any admissions, and look at me before you answer every question. Every fucking one, Sadie. Even something as simple as your name or address. Got it?”

My instinct was to balk at his tone. He worked for me and was talking to me like I was his goddamn employee. Andrew was awfully expensive, but I hired him because he was the best. He got off on beating government lawyers, and that impressed me.

“Yes, Andrew, I got it.”

Thomas stood at the front door, my ever-present protector, and waited patiently. I could see regret and failure swimming in his eyes, as if he could have protected me from this. No one could have, but Thomas wouldn’t hear it even if I tried to tell him. At my nod, he opened the door.

Agent Marshall entered first with the warrant, which Andrew quickly accepted and read thoroughly. He turned to me as Agent Beck entered with two uniformed officers behind her, one of them mine.
