2. Individual Awards. Individual awards received by crew members could not be determined as individual awards were not categorized by unit. It is sufficient to note that every crew member received the Air Medal and in most cases multiple awards of the Air Medal. Many received higher awards for actions to include the Distinguished Flying Cross and Silver Stars. Most notable are the following awards, received over the course of the unit’s time in Vietnam.
