Worth laughed softly and made his way over to his laptop to do some work. Why didn’t that surprise me?
“Don’t do stupid work. Snuggle me,” I whined. “It’s cold in here with the air on. What’s the point of having a fake boyfriend if I can’t use his body for my comfort and pleasure?”
Worth turned and pinned me with a heated stare, almost like a promise. My words echoed softly in the room like a dare. For a split second, I wondered if he’d actually come over here. But then he stood up and slid open the porthole window to let in the warm ocean breeze. “There. Get under the covers if you want to warm up more. I need to check my email and respond to my PA about a few things.”
I was more disappointed than I’d expected. After sleeping two nights in his bed and feeling his hands on me around the others… I’d begun wanting something I knew I couldn’t have.
After a few minutes of listening to the soft click of his keyboard and watching his sexy forearms, I couldn’t take it anymore.
“You know… if we’re sharing a bed anyway…”
“No.” Worth didn’t even turn around.

I huffed and flipped over, showing him my back even though he wasn’t paying any attention to me. I was twenty-three and horny. There was no need to spend this entire week chaste when two consenting adults with needs could help each other out really easily.
After a few more minutes, I turned back over. “Hear me out.”
The quiet rumble of his laugh made me even more anxious to get him naked. The sound went right to my dick. “You’re just bored,” he said. “Maybe read a book.”

Worth shifted in his chair but didn’t respond. He went back to clicking away.

Suddenly, I could picture him in a stuffy corporate boardroom droning on about boring nonsense like dynamic synergy and leveraging paradigm shifts for optimum output.
I threw myself back onto the bed with a groan. “God, you’re a boomer.”
“Not.”
“Okay, you’re Gen-X. And you want to know how I know? You use the word ‘not’ as a complete sentence.”
He chuckled softly as he turned back to his work. “And you’re a horny teen. Or close enough.”
“Are you saying you’re not horny?”
“At the moment? No, I’m not horny. I’m working. Or trying to, anyway.”
I tried to catch a glimpse of his crotch, but it was hidden under the desk. “Okay, but this morning I woke up with an old-man boner trying to fornicate with my belly button, so you have had moments of horn. Admit it.”
He scrubbed his face again. “You exhaust me.”
“I’d like to exhaust you,” I muttered, flipping over onto my stomach. I must have succumbed to the lull of the gentle rocking of the ship and the delicious lunch because the next thing I knew, Worth was shaking me awake.
“The ladies are asking about their dive.” He sat next to me on the bed in a glow of afternoon light.
I blinked awake. “Huh? Shit. What? Did I fall asleep?”
He brushed his fingers through my hair and looked down at me with a soft expression. “Yes. Right in the middle of a tirade about what a sex god you were and how you were going to rock my world with your power moves.”
“Shut up,” I mumbled, moving closer to him without thinking. I threw an arm over his lap and spooned his leg.
“Now you’re humping my leg.”
“I’m cuddling your leg, and you clearly don’t know what shut up means.”
Nat’s voice came from somewhere behind me. “Get your lazy ass up. Mia and Jade finished another unit in the online lessons and want to get in the water.”
I dragged my hand down Worth’s leg until I got to the hem of his shorts, and then I snuck my hand up inside the shorts along the bare skin of his hip. He sucked in a breath which made me feel slightly smug. At least he couldn’t claim to be unaffected by me. “You’re not wearing a suit,” I complained.
“I’m staying here. Lucas, Nat, and I need to go over some legal documents while we’re all together. I think Jin wants to go with you though.”
