“Holy shit,” he gasped.

“I’m close,” I cried. I stared down at him, meeting the fierce look of domination and possession in his gaze, then pinched my eyes shut as everything in my body snapped into a thousand shards of pleasure.

“I can’t believe it’s not even dark outside.” I lowered the sun visor and slumped against the seat, stretching out my legs. “There should be a rule against being that kinky before six p.m.”

“Are you hungry?” Easton shifted into reverse and began to back out of the spot.

“Starving. Pei Wei?” I watched a couple as they left the medical building and wondered how close their appointment had been to ours. When we had left, the office next to ours had been full of people and I had flushed, wondering if anyone had heard anything.

“Pei Wei works for me. Want to call in an order?”

“Yeah.” I dialed the number, then put the phone to my ear. In the time it took me to place our order and give our credit card number, Easton returned two business calls. I ended the call and settled back in the seat, listening as he spoke about a potential market dip in medical marijuana stock.

I was pleasantly sore, my ass aching the most. I was also a little buzzed, my body still humming from the experience. Julia and I had spoken about that at lunch—the high that came after the sex, a unique feeling of sexual invincibility. I had felt it after Aaron and after the De Lucas, though that peak had been destroyed by our fight. I glanced at Easton, grateful that the insecurities that had emerged after Brad hadn’t come back.

He ended the call and glanced at me. “That was fucking hot.”

“Your call?” I asked innocently.

“Funny.” A light spattering of rain began to fall and he turned on the windshield wipers. “I thought he was good. Respectful but still masculine. What’d you think?”

“The setup was hot. It felt real, and that…” I blushed. “That was really hot for me. Plus, he was good. I liked his dick. And he knew what he was doing.”

“It was nice that he came practically on demand.”

I had ended my “exam” on my back, my limbs weak, my body twitching with the aftershocks of pleasure as the two of them stood on either side of the table, their dicks in hand. Easton had muttered that he was close, and the doctor almost instantly come, his rope of come hitting me across the breasts, a splatter of it on my cheek. Easton had followed suit, his release more focused on my mouth, and I had lifted onto my elbows to take him, and then the doctor, into my mouth and sucked them both dry.

I shifted in the seat so I was facing him. “Do you think you’d be okay, just meeting with guys? Not doing any threesomes with girls?”

“Babe, after what just happened, I’m okay with anything you want. You could bring up fucking a banana peel and I’d jump into action.”

I laughed, but could see that there was something else.

“You… you didn’t like what you did with Julia?”

“It was okay. But we also fought afterward. And I know that was mostly about Brad, but I’m not sure that’s what I want. In that scenario, I liked it. But I’m worried, in a different scenario, I won’t.”

“Then we won’t do it,” he said with a shrug. “I don’t want to do anything you aren’t fully on board with. But we can figure that out later. We said three months, right? Who knows how you’ll feel then.”

Three months. I had completely forgotten about our three-month hiatus after this event. I nodded. “Right. You’re right.”

Three months. It felt like both a blessing and a curse. Three months to figure out our future. Three months to return to a normal life. Three months for the drama to cool, and our relationship with Chelsea to mend, and our sex life to reconnect to normality.

Three months. A blessing, I decided.

“You seem deep in thought,” Easton mused. “Having second thoughts about your Pei Wei order?”

I scoffed. “Never. But, come here.” I reached over and undid his seatbelt, then tugged at his shirt. “Hurry, before the light changes.” I leaned forward, and he leaned forward, and our kiss met in the air above the center console.

“I love you,” he whispered. “You’re everything to me, you know that?”

“Same here,” I whispered. “You’re all I need in life.”

The light changed green, but we stayed there a moment longer, one final kiss deeper, before we broke apart.

“Okay, so I’m still really mad at you.” Chelsea stood on our front stoop, two grocery bags in hand. “But, I am also equally impressed by Aaron’s apology speech, which you had an apparent hand in setting up, so I’ve decided that it’s okay.”

It was a bit of a grey area in terms of forgiveness, but she smiled, and I was ready to have Chelsea back in my life, even if she was still smarting on the edges. I hugged her, and she returned the gesture, her movement slightly hampered by the groceries she still carried.
