Blair started rocking her hips with the rhythm of the boat. Bringing herself closer and closer to taking him inside her, she closed her eyes and crushed her mouth on his.

Their bodies fused as she pulled him deeper within. Blair trembled as the quivering of her core overtook every sensation. Touching him like that, skin to skin, sent Blair off a ledge of epic proportions. She didn’t mean for everything to happen so fast, but there was no way to prepare her for how amazing he was going to feel. Justyn grabbed her lower back as she sank into him.

“You feel too good.” Blair moaned and rocked harder.

Her body no longer felt in her control. It was doing everything that felt good and right, like sliding along him until she thought she would collapse. He forced his hips upward.

“Justyn, I—” Her body was lost in the recklessness. The heat consumed her while she desperately clenched around him, wanting him to stay inside, filling her, consuming her, but needing the fire of him as their bodies pulled apart and slammed back together.

“Don’t hold back. I want to hear you,” Justyn growled into her ear.

His words shot another fiery sensation between her legs. No one had ever said that to her before. It was almost like a challenge, but one she was ready to let claim her. Suddenly, she wanted to scream like she never had before. She lowered herself to kiss him, reveling in the pressure tightening in her belly.

His hands lingered over her breasts until she felt her nipples harden under his touch. Slowly, his hands moved away, coasting over her curves.

He grabbed the sides of her hips and rhythmically moved them until Blair leaned back, eyes closed, and screamed his name over the sound.

Justyn pulled Blair toward him and kissed her fully on the mouth, quickening the pace, driving harder into her with each breath. She felt his body tense under her, and his fingers dig into the small of her back before he loosened his grip and closed his eyes, his body quiet and still.

“The answer is no,” Justyn managed to whisper.

“What?”

“Earlier. You asked about me and doing this on a boat. The answer is now yes, but before it was no.” He laughed. “This was—I don’t even know how to describe it.” He propped himself up on his elbows.

“Hot? Sexy? Awesome? How about something like that?” Blair waited for her newly christened summer lover to reassure her that he too had had the best sex of his life.

“It was the hottest, most intense, best boat sex I have ever had. How’s that?” His lips lingered over hers, and worked their way over to her ear and down her neck.

Blair felt the rumbling surges stirring again below her belly. “Really? Again?”

In one swift motion, Justyn circled his hands around Blair’s back and planted her underneath him. “Oh, darlin’, we’re just getting started.” Justyn smiled, and Blair giggled as he leaned in for another kiss.

Blair

Blair had never been angrier, and she was determined he would feel the brunt of her rage. If the tall blonde had ever had a pet peeve, it was when a guy promised he would call and he didn’t. She glowered at the silent phone resting on the end table. How could he do this? She paced up and down the porch, hands on her hips, swearing Justyn’s name under her breath.

The last time she saw him was two days ago—and it was perfect—well, almost perfect. She was furiously wearing a track into the porch of the summerhouse. Maggie strolled up the path from the pier, her arms loaded with wildflowers.

“I guess he hasn’t called yet?”

“No. He hasn’t and I’m beginning to think I don’t want him to anymore.”

“Good lord, Blair, you know nothing is wrong. Please stop pacing and sit still for a second.”

Maggie dusted off a nearby watering can, and started arranging her flowers in it.

“You know what? I never should have gone to that stupid clambake in the first place. Then I never would have met him and my life would be sane right now.”

Maggie laughed. “Yeah and pretty boring. You like him, Blair. How could you not after all the trouble he went to the other night to apologize? He’s so sweet and so hot.” Maggie fanned herself.

“I think it’s obvious he only had one intention with me. He got what he wanted and he’s moved on—probably with some local girl.” She slumped her thin frame into a rocking chair and threw her feet on the railing. “I mean, this is what I said I wanted, right? Just sex. No attachments? A fun summer fling? Right?”

Maggie joined her in the adjacent chair. “I think we both know we’ve crossed that line. These guys have gotten to us, as much as I hate to admit it. I can’t stop thinking about Reid and the morning on the pier. He’s not like anyone else I’ve ever met. I can’t help it.”

“No. No, Maggie. We’re not doing this. We agreed—no entanglements—and that’s what we’re going to do. Absolutely, no feelings.”
