Her eyes widened. “I don’t follow.”
“What Sawyer is trying to say is that we want you to be that woman. We want you, equally.”
She reached for the desk. “I need more bourbon.”
“Here have mine.” Jack handed her what was left of his drink. She inhaled it. “Is that better?” he asked.
She nodded. “I think so.”
“We can offer you so much,” Sawyer spoke slowly. “So much. And if you want that baby, we both thought about it. We’re in. We’ll give you as many babies as you want.”
She looked into the depths of his dark eyes. There was no doubt he could give her something she’d never experienced before, but she turned to Jack. His green eyes shimmered in the dim light. His eyes offered something completely different—something mischievous and fun.
“Because I asked for a baby, you’re willing to give me one?” It didn’t make sense.
They nodded. “We just want lots of practice.”
“How?” she asked.
