“It’s not morning,” Cam told them. “It’s after seven in the evening.”

“What?” Dylan’s eyebrows shot up. “That can’t be right. I never sleep that long. Ever.”

“But you did. So did I.” He smiled and grabbed Erica’s hand. “I think I know why, too. Would you like some coffee, bro?”

“Thanks, Cam,” his brother said, taking a cup. He placed his other arm around her shoulder, squeezing tenderly.

He’d never seen Dylan act so comfortable around anyone like he was with Erica. Still, something inside Cam told him that Dylan was holding back. Why? No clue. His brother did keep many secrets, but he wasn’t about to let his foot off the pedal with him and Erica. The three of them belonged together.

Liking how Dylan was treating Erica, he thought it might be a good idea to give them a little time alone. “If you don’t mind, I think I’ll excuse myself to go take a shower.”

“Good idea,” Erica said. “I definitely need one, too, since it’s been…oh my God, I haven’t had a shower since Friday morning.”

“That makes three of us.” Dylan leaned over and gave her a kiss. “You both know I’m big on conservation.”

“Not that I’ve ever seen,” Cam told him.

“Well, it’s true. I think everyone needs to do their part,” Dylan said with a wink. “Water is my big issue.” He jumped off the bed and held out his hand to Erica. “Let’s shower together.”

He loved how Dylan worked a plan. This was going better than he hoped it would. Dylan seemed to be fully on board.

Erica’s cheeks brightened and she smiled. “If it means saving the planet, then I guess I better.”

“Damn right,” Cam said, feeling his cock harden in his jeans.

Chapter Five

When Dylan lifted her off the bed and into his arms, Erica’s breath caught in her chest.

This was happening. Finally. She’d dreamed of being with the Strange brothers for years. I want this more than anything, but will they break my heart? Sure she’d desired this, but all that had ever happened between her and them up until now was a few teasing glances.

In the end though, the flirtations had resulted in only flirtations and nothing more. Now, the brothers were taking things to the next step, the next level. Should she? There was no doubt in her that she wanted to, wanted it with all her heart. But wasn’t that what was at risk? Her heart?

If she had any chance of retreating from this promise of pleasure, she had to do it now. Right now.

Without a word, Dylan smiled at her. Keeping her secure in his hold, he bent down to retrieve his sunglasses.

She put her hand out to stop him. “You’ve got to be kidding. Don’t tell me you shower with those on.” Gazing into his eyes, which were the deepest chocolate brown she’d ever seen, she felt a shiver roll up her spine. “Your eyes are gorgeous, Dylan. Please put the glasses down.”

For a long moment he just stared, causing her to tremble.

Is this really happening? Maybe I better pinch myself to be sure it’s not a dream. “Ouch!” It’s real. It’s very real.

Cam came up behind Dylan. “What happened, baby? Everything okay?”

She thought about telling him the truth—that she was out of her mind for pinching herself—but decided that would sound ridiculous. “It was nothing. Let’s just say I was checking on…on my pulse. That’s it. My pulse.”

“Mmm. I’ve never in my whole life heard of anyone getting hurt checking their pulse,” Cam said.

Dylan winked at her. She could tell he saw what she’d done and likely knew why she’d done it.

Her heart skipped several beats as he placed the shades back on the nightstand. The last ounce of her hesitation vanished.

“Erica, you’ve put me and my brother under your spell,” Cam said, brushing the hair out of her eyes.

“If it is a spell, it has taken years to invoke.” She watched him nod. It had been ages of quick flirty glances and chance meetings between them that had drove her insane with desire.

Dylan carried her to the bathroom with Cam right behind. Once inside, he lowered her to her feet.
