With some help from Jay and Clay, Joel and Restin had reopened her father’s investment firm after they had graduated from college. The place was growing like mad. They’d also managed Toni’s accounts and had more than doubled her fortune.
Zane came up and kissed Toni. “What’s our job this year, baby?”
“That’s what I was just asking her,” Maddox said.
“Peanut butter cookies.”
“My favorite,” Maddox said, pulling her in close and kissing her tenderly.
She grinned. “You didn’t let me finish. We’re also cleanup crew this year.”
“That’s okay, sweetheart. With you by my side, I’m happy to wash dishes until Santa arrives.”

Christmas morning
Everyone was gathered around the tree and there was so much laughter from the little ones you couldn’t hear your own voice.
Toni sat between her two amazing husbands as their daughter ran up with a big box.
“Look what Santa left me, Mommy.”
“I see. Open it.”
Coralie ripped the wrapping away and opened the box. “It’s an elephant, just like Remi’s. Santa knew I would like that. I’m so happy.”
“So am I, baby. So am I.”
