Zane came up and kissed Toni. “What’s our job this year, baby?”

“My favorite,” Maddox said, pulling her in close and kissing her tenderly.

She grinned. “You didn’t let me finish. We’re also cleanup crew this year.”

Christmas morning

Everyone was gathered around the tree and there was so much laughter from the little ones you couldn’t hear your own voice.

Toni sat between her two amazing husbands as their daughter ran up with a big box.

“Look what Santa left me, Mommy.”

“I see. Open it.”

Coralie ripped the wrapping away and opened the box. “It’s an elephant, just like Remi’s. Santa knew I would like that. I’m so happy.”
