“When I turned and you weren’t there, I woke up,” he murmurs, a slight look of panic crossing his face.

“We’ll, here I am. I didn’t go running for the hills, if that’s what you were worried about,” I say, trying to reassure him.

His face immediately relaxes.

“What time is it?” he asks.

“A little before eight.”

His eyes go from concerned to needy. “Since you insist on going back to work tomorrow, we only have one more day here.” He smiles as he stands from the bed. “What do you want to do?” Naked, he saunters over and pulls me into his arms.

Tilting my head up, he plants a gentle kiss on my lips, his cock stirring against my robe. If we go back to bed, we’ll never leave.

“What do you want to do today?” I ask, looking up into his bright blue eyes. He smiles a coy, you-know-what-I want smile. “Except sex,” I sneak in. He chuckles and gives me a puppy dog pout, making me giggle.

“No sex?” he asks, raising a brow.

I shake my head slowly for effect. “Nope,” I say, popping the ‘p’.

Spinning me around, he pushes me down on the bed and pins me to the mattress. “Are you sure?” he taunts.

“No,” I answer with a pout, “but if we stay here, day will turn to night before we know it.”

Gazing down at me, his lips twitching, he appears thoughtful for a moment. “Okay,” he concedes, placing a quick peck on my lips. “I need to go back to my room and freshen up.”

“And maybe get some clothes, not that I mind looking at your naked body.”

He stands up. “You will have plenty of time to see that,” he chuckles. “But, you still haven’t answered my question.”

“Surprise me,” I say, leaning up on one arm and biting my lip.

“Stop that, or I’m not going anywhere,” he warns. Tossing his clothes from yesterday back on his flawless body, he turns to me. “Be ready by nine. I’ll call you ten minutes before to tell you how to dress.” With that, he walks out of the suite.

Exactly fifty minutes later, my cell phone rings and I pick it up, knowing it will be Chase.

“Hello,” I purr into the phone.

“Meet me in the lobby in ten minutes. You’ll need a comfortable bathing suit and sun screen.” With that, he hangs up.

I find the only one-piece suit I packed, a navy blue halter from Tommy Bahama with polka-dot print and striped trim, and throw it on as quickly as possible. I’m still fastening the back clasp as I run down the hall to the elevators.

A few minutes later, I stroll into the lobby and find Chase sitting on one of the white couches filling the large space. No matter where we are, he’s always impeccably dressed and looks amazing. The driving urge to climb on top of him, take his face in my hands, and kiss him like there’s no tomorrow, grows with every second I see him.

As soon as he sees me walking toward him, he stands. “Hello, beautiful.”

“So, where are we going?” I ask when I get to him. He pulls me into an embrace and kisses the top of my head.

“The only thing to do when you’re in Key West.” I look at him, puzzled. “Snorkeling,” he says, grinning from ear to ear.

“I’ve never been snorkeling.”

“Well, today is a fantastic day to learn.”

He’s right. The weather couldn’t be more perfect—not a cloud in the sky and barely a breeze. “There is a tour that leaves soon, come.” He takes my hand and we walk out the front doors of the hotel to a car waiting in front of the hotel. Chase opens the door to let me in, then slides in after me.

After stopping for a breakfast of bagels and coffee,

we pull up to an area where the cruise ships dock. We get out of the car and Chase leads me past a row of charter boats, stopping at what he considers a smaller, more personal tour boat. This boat is about the same size as the one he took me on when we were at Davis, and that wasn’t small by any means.
