You’ve gone from refusing to sleep with him, to now all you want to do is fuck him.

He was driving her crazy, refusing to do anything more than touch.

“Don’t start being a caveman.” She looked past Jacob and didn’t see her brother. “Where’s Riley?”

He’d promised her that he would keep Riley safe, and she trusted him to.

“Riley went home early. I came to wait for you to finish.”

“Go on home early, Lou. You’ve earned it,” Frank said.

“Are you sure?”

“I’m giving you the rest of the night off. Don’t make me forget it.” It was her weekend off, and she gave Frank a big smile. “I’ll grab my bag.”

She grabbed her bag and made her way back out to the main bar when she saw Pam sitting between Frank and Jacob. Lou paused as jealousy struck her hard.

Staring at Jacob, she saw that his hands were in his pockets, and he was glaring at Pam.

Moving toward his side, she linked her arm with his. Pam liked to constantly talk about the amazing sex that they had shared.

“Hello, Lou, I didn’t see you there. I was offering Jacob a show.”

“Did you want a show, baby?” she asked, looking up at Jacob. “I’m sure I’d love to see you give a private show.”

“You know I only want you. Goodnight, Frank.” Before she could say anything more he pulled her away from Pam out toward his car. “What the hell was that?”

“Did you want a private show?”

“No.”

“Why not? It’s not like you’re getting any from me, is it? You must be getting it elsewhere. Pam’s told me how damn determined you are to get what you want, and I know without a doubt you’re not getting any here.” She pointed at her own body. “You must be getting it somewhere.” Her voice had risen to yelling, and she didn’t even care who heard her.

“Is that what this is about, Lou? You don’t like the fact that I’ve taken my time with you? You want me to fuck you, is that it?”

“Are you screwing Pam?”

“No.”

He opened his car door and pushed her into the car. She slammed her palm against the window, annoyed with him. Jacob got behind the wheel, not saying a word as he pulled away from the strip club.

Lou folded her arms, and she refused to be the one to speak. This was not her problem.

When he drove away from her apartment, Lou frowned. “You’ve missed my turning,” she said.

He didn’t stop, nor did he answer, but he kept on driving.

“What is going on, Jacob?”

Once again, he didn’t bother talking to her, and he kept on driving. Her heart raced, and she looked outside the window at the passing scenery. Twenty minutes later, they pulled up to a gate, and Jacob rolled his window down.

Her heart began to pound as he pressed his card to the scan, punching in the number that opened the gate. Wherever they were going was secluded.

He started driving straight, and she looked behind her to see the gates closing.

“Jacob, what’s going on?”

No words were spoken, and she gritted her teeth.
