Heat thrummed between them, that delightfully eager look promising their next round would be lots of fun indeed.

Wentworth’s gaze sparked. “But what to do first, bumblebee?”

Elliot dropped to his knees. “How about a sore throat?”

Wentworth threw his head back and laughed.

Smiling, Elliot took Wentworth’s hand and tugged gently. “There’s something else I’d like to do.”

Wentworth stilled, blinking hard.

Elliot kissed Wentworth’s ring finger. “Wentworth McAllister, would you marry me?”

“You mean, in a few years?”

“I mean, next week. Today if it were possible.”

Laughter tumbled out of Wentworth, yet hope flickered in his eyes. “You mean it?”

“I haven’t a single objection.”

“We just got back together.”

“Were we ever really apart? Were we not in each other’s every thought?”

Wentworth said huskily. “Our holiday the week after could be our honeymoon.”

“That’s a yes?”

Wentworth dropped to his knees. “I’ve never needed persuading when it comes to marrying the man I love.”

Elliot clasped his nape and kissed him. “That is a yes.”
