She pointed a finger at me. I bit it.

“Stop that.”

“I’ll let you think about that kiss for the next few days. And then I’ll see you bright and early Thursday morning, sweetheart.”

I let her slide down my body, gritting my teeth the entire time to keep from taking what we both wanted.

“Do what you want and I’ll do the same.”

Mandy and her smart mouth were gonna get her in trouble. “Don’t test me, Mandy.”

“Don’t boss me around, Savior.”

Damn she was hot when she got all pissed off, which she did a lot.

“Nine o’clock.” I pulled the door open and walked through it. “Lock the door.”

She muttered angrily from the other side of the door and I smiled, wondering if her skin was all flushed like it was when she got pissed off. If her nipples were tight little beads. But still, the door didn’t lock.

“Mandy.” I gave her one full minute. A full fucking minute and still she didn’t lock the door, not even the one inside the knob. I pushed the door open and watched her eyes light with surprise as I pushed her into the wall with my body.

“What do you think you’re doing?”

“What you wanted when you decided not to lock the fucking door.”

I dipped my hand into the waistband of her shorts, past the small scrap of cotton and right into the dripping nectar between her thighs.

“So fucking wet.”

I slid my finger deep until it was coated. She pulsed around me as I pulled it out and we both groaned.

She watched, with her lips slightly parted as I put that finger in my mouth and sucked it clean. Mandy choked on a gasp and then licked her lips in desire. “You came back just for that?”

“I’ll get the rest Thursday. Now, lock the fuckin’ door.”

“Bossy,” she muttered, but she flipped the locks and I walked away with a hardon and a smile.

Chapter 9

Mandy

I had everything I needed for the four plus hour drive to San Diego. I made éclairs last night for the road, packed my bags and woke up in plenty of time to pack and be gone a full hour before Savior darkened my doorstep. I hadn’t planned on spending the entire weekend with the Reckless Bastards, since they weren’t really my friends, but I knew Savior would show up today and force the issue, so I had to get up and get that worm before he swooped in and stole it from me. It was ten minutes to eight and everything was all set. I pulled the door open, arm

s laden with snacks and my purse, and slammed into a tall, blue-eyed biker wearing a smug grin offering me coffee and a grease-stained bag of pastries.

“Trying to sneak off to San Diego without me?” He shocked the hell out of me and moved inside, kicking the door shut before I could recover my senses.

But with his man-scent enveloping me in the tiny apartment, that was harder to do.

“I wasn’t sneaking anywhere, just leaving. For my trip. To San Diego.”

I could admit, only to myself, that I was impressed he’d caught on to my plan and foiled it, but I wasn’t happy.

“At least I got a cronut out of the deal,” I told him, picking out the sweet pastry from the selection in the bag before taking a less than ladylike bite. It was from my favorite bakery. Was he a mind reader, too? “It’s a little sweet for my taste but it’ll give me the energy rush I need for the drive ahead of me.”

He smirked. “It’s not that long, especially since I’m driving. Both of us.”

“If you mean you and your gigantic ego, then I agree. But if I’m part of that equation, you should probably stop smoking crack.”
