“Yes. Please. I’m so achy, Loid.” she never has to beg for it. My fingers lower her leggings and pull her panties to the side. I am poised to drop my pants when there is a knock at the door. “Shit.” “Open up brother, or we are going to break in.” they are all fucking dead. My whole squad. I curse once more, and she giggles.

“You think it is funny?” I ask her, spanking her exposed ass.

“Yep.” she says, wiggling out of my arms. She pulls up her leggings and I curse once more.

“This is not over, baby.” “I am counting on it.” Let me let these assholes in.

Chapter Nine

Fern

Right now, I am thanking God for the interruption. I didn’t want to lie to him, but I also didn't want to tell him the truth. It is a miracle already that he believed me when I told him I was psychic. I have never had anyone not fake belief. But can you imagine his response if I would have told him the client is a Witch? I mean hell, I barely believe it myself and I am the one who does readings for her.

“Well shit, March. Now I see why you haven’t let her see the light of day.” Some big burly man right before he whistles and lifts me in the air spinning me around. I can’t help but giggle. I can feel Loid reaching for me as he curses his friend.

“Let her down jackass. I am going to beat the shit out of you.” he growls at his friend before my feet hit the floor. He pulls me into him, holding me so tight I feel like an appendage. My face is flushed, I can tell, but it doesn’t stop the giggle as the rest of his friend's chuckle at how riled up he is. “Are you ok, baby?” he looks me up and down like somehow I have been injured.

“I am fine. Aren’t you going to introduce us?” I smack his chest and face this crowd of lumbering men in leather Jackets.

“I am thinking I don’t want to know. '' he grunts in my ear, kissing my neck. I love how much he wants to touch me and him staking his claim in front of his friends is hot as fuck. “Baby girl, I would like for you to meet my best friends, colleagues and fellow MC members and co-owners of Chopper City. Altman, Ammo, Slip, Conrad, Lettie, Coy, Nano, Lit and the asshole is Bear.'' The name sure fits him. “fellas, this is my woman and future wife, Fern Atlas.” “Uh, hi.” I stumble over my greeting with his word's ‘wife’ throwing me off.

“It's a pleasure ma'am.” the one named Ammo says.

“I want to thank you guys for agreeing to look after me as well.” “No thanks needed Miss Atlas. This is what we do. If you need anything from any of us, don’t hesitate. This compound is built like Fort Knox. You can roam around freely here and come and go as you please.” “She won’t need anything from you, assholes.” Loid laments and pulls me behind him. I giggle into his shirt, knowing his face is scrunched up and pissed.

“I will remember that.” “Well, I am sure March over here would like for us to leave so we will be going.’ with that they all turn to leave. Taking my opportunity, I go around him and walk to the stairs. Not deterred, he grabs my shirt and reminds me.

“Not so fast, baby. You were supposed to be telling me why your client can not come here.” Fuck. I wanted to live in this warm, safe bubble a little while longer before he thinks I am a nutjob. But I guess not. “Answer me, baby.” I turn my back to him and take a deep breath before sinking this relationship that has become so important after such a short time.

“It’s because she is a Witch.” I mumble it out, not facing him. I said it really fast hoping he doesn’t hear me but of course that doesn't work. He turns slowly to face me, and I refuse to meet his gaze.

“Don’t look away from me baby, it makes me crazy when your eyes are not on me. Look at me.” he lifts my chin and looks at me.

“That might sound crazy to some, baby, but living with my grandma I have seen all types of weird shit. She would have loved you.” he rubs my cheek before kissing me. “Now, give me your house key. I am going to send the guys to pick up your stuff. You know what, why don’t we all go. Then you can pack the place and label everything.” he pulls out his phone and starts barking orders at someone. My feet, planted in the ground, don't budge. Did he actually just believe me? And then basically tell me he was moving me in? What in the hell is happening to my life? *** I have to say he was not playing. We literally got to my place, packed everything I would need at least for the next few weeks loaded into one of their trucks and brought it all back here. That was two hours ago. Now, here I am unpacking while I wait for Cecily, my client to come over. Loid left a little bit ago. He said he had to go into the next town over, Ashville, for something. He showed me how to set the alarms and such and kissed me before walking out the door. Bzzz. Good she is here.
