I am standing over her sated body as she slumbers. Her skin is pink and flushed from her orgasm. My eyes drift to the clock knowing I need to leave for the meeting, but my dick is raging against not getting his dessert. Adjusting him, I close my eyes and stumble back against the wall. Like a multiplex of movies playing in my mind I see her beneath me, writhing in need with her legs spread and up to her shoulders.
The second vision to overcome me is one of her begging me to take care of her and never leave her. I can see the sadness in her eyes, telling me of her previous heartbreak without spilling a word. My heart aches and breaks for her past, but I lean into her sleeping ear back in the present and swear my devotion. “I promise, baby girl. Walking the mile to the clubhouse, I have a vault of questions. Like why when I move even a millimeter from her my chest feels like it is going to cave in. Why does it feel as if she is an appendage that was soldered onto my body overnight and I know instinctively, without her, I will cease to exist?
“He finally decided to join us.” The voice of Slip cuts through my fog.
“Asshole.” I say shaking my head and sitting down.
“Now that we have all assembled, first things first. We have a woman in our town.” all heads turn to me and if I were a lesser man, I would be remiss in admitting I am blushing a bit. See, I am the first one of us to bring a female to this sacred place so I knew they would make a big deal out of it, but I didn’t expect to feel so possessive.
“She’s here. She is not going anywhere. Move on. As a matter of fact, I need a couple of you to go to her place and grab some of her shit. Nano, maybe take your sister. I don’t want to have to gouge out your eyes forgetting to see her panties, pal.” He grunts but gets up to go and call Callie, his little sister. The rest of them I give the stare down, so they know not to fuck with me. They all chuckle and I relax. Somewhat.
“Cool your rod, Sarg. We are just giving you shit. We are curious though, is she the new detail?” “Yes.” “Well shit. This just got a lot more complicated.” Bear says, running his hands down his face. I scan the room and notice for the first time since I walked in here that all of the guys are tense, and their war face is on. My alert goes up.
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean?” “Nano just got back from doing some recon on surveillance cameras in the area of the scene where your girl was threatened. We caught a visual of the perp as he fled.” Conrad pauses and looks at me and I know I am not going to like what he says next. He only pauses when it is something bad.
“Well tell me, shit.” “The robbery was part of a Branch Devils hit.” Fucking shit. When we decided to move here, one of the first things we did was find out who the enemies were. The Branch Devils were at the top of the list for the police department. They always knew who committed the crimes, but the Devils never leave witnesses…alive anyway so prosecuting them is next to impossible. That is a lot of why we decided on this line of work. Tip the scales in favor of the good guys.
“You're certain?” I ask, trying to keep my cool but really, I am a madman on the inside. A bloodthirsty seeker of revenge, hellbent on destroying them before they take from me the first thing I have ever wanted for myself.
“Confirmed.” Conrad says, nodding his head.
“Well shit boys. Looks like we have a war coming cause my woman is priority number one.” all heads nod up and down in agreement with various sentiments being spewed.
