I hadn’t even gotten the words out, and he was already gone. Chase flooded me with jet after jet of his warm seed, filling my nether-channel. Pumping me full in the hottest, dirtiest way, while I stroked the back of Julian’s head and thrust my tongue into Noah’s mouth.

You’ve got to be the luckiest girl in the whole fucking world.

The voice of reason was suddenly gone, now replaced by the voice of jealousy. Inwardly, I laughed at it. The voice could fuck off as far, as I was concerned. I was kind of busy.

“Ohhhhh…” Chase groaned, his rigid body going limp with pleasure. “Oh man. Oh fuck…”

He strokes became shorter, then slower, and then he was done. He withdrew carefully, lowering my legs back to the bed. The purest look of sheer ecstasy on his face as he stepped back, almost in awe.

I sat up in one fluid motion, then rose straight to my feet. For some reason I felt oddly rejuvenated. Totally satisfied, but also filled with a second wind.

I blew them a kiss as I turned and walked away in my shredded fishnets. The abruptness of my exit left them spent, sated, and staring at each other.

“Not bad for round one,” I teased, on my way to the shower.

MADISON

The following week and a half was a non-stop push for the end. A never-ending cycle of work and sleep, in an almost herculean effort to check off the entire inspector’s list.

It was mentally easy at first, because it seemed so impossible. We were just going through the motions. Trying to get as close as possible, on the off chance we could squeak by with another extension.

Toward the end though, I was scared half to death. And that’s because, incredibly enough, we could almost see a light at the end of the tunnel. As if maybe — just maybe — we could actually make it.

We spent our evenings together, talking in exhausted but excited tones. Taking a little bit of time for ourselves, as we traded massages and unwound from the day.

Somehow, Julian kept up his search of the Great Hall. For at least an hour a night he labored away in the gigantic chamber, taking apart the walls and putting them back together again. Eventually, Noah began helping him. Together the two of them got twice the amount of work done, although their search always came up with nothing.

In the meantime, Chase and I focused our efforts on my uncle’s own library of books. Upstairs in his private chambers, we looked for anything we could find on the history of Westgate Castle, or the local surrounding area.

Each night we crashed hard, usually in our own beds. We took our pleasures where and when we found them, but for the most part it was all work and little pla

y.

But we were on borrowed time. At risk of losing it all. And now, all of a sudden, it felt like we were losing two things of importance. Because if the property itself went back to auction, we’d have to abandon our little treasure hunt… if that’s what it really was to begin with.

I’d told the guys about ‘Jonathan’, the man who’d walked up to our front door and tried to buy the property. I admitted I was even tempted for a moment, if for no other reason just so I could cash out and pay everyone back.

“You did the right thing,” Noah assured me, with a scowl on his face. “And if that guy ever comes back again…”

“You let us take care of him,” Chase grunted.

The days were long, the nights too short… but little by little, things got done. The deadline drew closer. Our supplies grew thin. Yet when we looked at what was left to do, the list seemed shorter and shorter each day.

Finally we were a week away. Just seven short days until Midlothian county inspectors determined if the property actually belonged to me… or whether it would revert back to the Scottish government again, and prepped for a speedy auction.

The stress was getting to me. So was the heat. We were coming up on fall, but the summer was still hot. Maybe even getting hotter, for some weird reason.

As a result, my sleep suffered. I tossed and turned and woke up often, sometimes even alone. One particularly hot night I found myself sheetless, blanketless. Staring up at the midnight ceiling, while a thousand random thoughts raced through my sleep-deprived mind.

Fuck this.

I decided to get up and maybe walk it off. Get rid of whatever pent-up energy was still left in my body, and hopefully cool myself in the fresh night air.

I went out into the hall, and climbed the narrow but crumbling staircase that led to the highest terrace. Pulling the thick bolt aside, I threw open the door and stepped into a blissfully cool breeze.

Right away, I felt immeasurably better.
