Still breathing heavily, I opened my eyes. Corey was staring back at me, grinning like an imp.

“You wanna come?” I teased.

He was still stroking his throbbing cock, up and down, passing it through his fist. The sight of it had me quivering with lust.

“You know I do.”

I climbed off Mason. Climbed onto Corey.

“Then bring me off again.” I challenged. Then, more demurely. “Make me yours.”

Corey took over immediately. Grabbing my hips, he thrust himself upward, straight into my come-drenched pussy. He pierced me so deeply, I bit down on my lip.

“Shouldn’t be that hard,” he winked up at me.

Epilogue

LAUREN

“Ha ha! You look like a pirate!”

Mason smirked beneath his freshly-waxed mustache, and shrugged off the latest in a series of insults. All around us, people milled about the movie set in seemingly random directions. But if you looked carefully, everyone and everything had its purpose.

“Seriously,” Brody went on. “Shouldn’t you be tying some helpless damsel to the railroad tracks? And do you stroke your beard to a point whenever you get an evil idea?”

“Fuck off,” said Mason, suppressing a laugh. “I don’t come to your job and slap the broom out of your hand.”

“We have people who sweep the floor now,” Corey said proudly. “We’re past that.”

I stepped in and straightened Mason’s collar. Wardrobe had already scolded me twice for messing with him — something about shot continuity — but the OCD part of me just couldn’t help myself.

“You should never be past sweeping the floor,” Mason said. “Just ask Mr. Miyagi.”

“That’s sanding the floor, you dunderhead,” needled Brody. “You live in Hollywood, for Chrissakes! Don’t you even watch any of these movies?”

“Nah,” Mason winked. “I just make em.”

He ducked away, but not before kissing me. His beard tickled. I wasn’t used to it yet. He’d been growing it since a few weeks before principal photography, and the ridicule started shortly afterward.

“I can’t believe it,” Brody said, when he was out of earshot. “Our friend’s gonna be a big-time movie star.”

“You’re damn right,” said Corey, folding his arms over his chest. “Mostly thanks to you.”

I knew what he meant. That the contacts I’d help Mason with were finally paying off. He had an agent that was actually working hard for him now. A publicist — namely, me — hellbent on keeping on top of things for him. But when it came to this…

“This was all him though,” I replied. “The Covenant was his gig all along. The rest of the stuff I’ll take a little credit for,” I smiled, “but the studio picked up this show because he was good in it.”

We all settled back to watch, none of us having been on a set before. There were a few minutes still, before the cameras started rolling. It gave me time to think.

A year and a half…

More like sixteen months, but close enough. I still couldn’t believe it. Still couldn’t fathom that I’d actually made the move; I’d left New York, a place I always thought I loved, a place I never thought I’d leave in a million years…

… only to call Las Vegas — of all places — my home.

It still didn’t make sense, only it did. And the whole thing had worked out ten times better than I’d ever hoped it could.

“Do you have any M&M’s left?” Corey asked Brody.
