“Listen, I’ve known Billion longer than both of you. I know what the man wants, and I know what he doesn’t want. I’m not sure what you got that has him chasing after you, but the Billion I know is a sucker for a small waist, big titties, and an even bigger ass. I think Denim’s choice of words are wrong, but basically, she and I both know that you’re just far off from what we see him go after,” I said, trying to be the peacemaker, but at the same time, trying to throw my little bit of shade in.

“If that’s what he wants, why isn’t he with either of you? I know personally that he hasn’t dealt with either of you since he’s been home. You can stop while you’re ahead because if you’re trying to run me away, it’s not working,” she went on to say.

The bathroom door opened again, and Twinkle walked in.

“There you go! You just ran off, and I was looking everywhere for you. Are you okay? What the hell were they saying to you?” Twinkle came in like her little ass was big and bad.

I didn’t too much care for Twinkle anymore either. I fell out with her years ago.

“Nothing. They weren’t saying anything,” she said and walked out of the bathroom.

Twinkle looked from us to the door that her girl had already walked out of.

“You two bitches are miserable. If Billion wanted to be with either of you hoes, he would have been! Accept the fact that he’s moved on, and he isn’t interested in you cum suckers anymore!” Twinkle spat.

“Twinkle, please! Go worry about the step baby that you have on the way!” I spat because word around town was that Monterius had a baby on her.

“I’ll do that while you worry about stepping your desperation up a notch to get with a nigga who doesn’t give a fuck about you! I’m not even sure why you bitches are here. Deepthroating cum and accidentally getting knocked up shouldn’t give you family invites. In case you didn’t know, your kids are family, not you bitter ass baby mamas!” she spat and then walked out.

She hit low, and I knew it was because I said what I said about Monterius. I ended up staying in the bathroom with Denim for at least another minute or so as we freshened up.

“Yo! Your girl running out on you,” my homie, Dru, let me know.

I had invited a few of my niggas to come out and celebrate my grandma’s day with us, because shit, she was like a grandmother to everyone. I had been cooped up with Normani all night, but about thirty minutes ago, I came up top, where a lot of my niggas were, and I was just kickin’ it with them.

I knew that Normani was straight because she was down there with Twinkle and my mama. My mama loved Normani already. All night, she had been telling me that Normani was the one. Then, when she found out that Normani was a doctor, she pretty much swore on her and knew that she was the woman for me.

What’s so crazy is that my mama was mean as fuck, and when it came to me dating a woman and her feeling like they were the one, her expectations were so high because she thought highly of me. I even introduced Normani to my grandma, and my grandma couldn’t stop talking about how Normani was the one for me too.

Speaking of my grandma, she had been smiling and shit all night. She was under the impression that we were just going to celebrate her birthday by taking her out to dinner, but nah, we managed to plan a whole surprise party without her even knowing. We started talking about this party while I was in prison, and I was just glad that I could be home. This was definitely one of those events that I wouldn’t have wanted to hear about. Instead, I would have rather been there to witness it. All her old high school friends were there, and each time I looked over at her, she was either nonstop smiling or laughing.

Days ago, I was supposed to have pulled both my baby mamas to the side and had a conversation with them about Normani and how I now had a girlfriend. But ever since Normani and I made shit official, I had been so busy sniffing behind her ass that I didn’t even have the time to do so. Plus, I got the keys to my new spot on Monday, so I had really been working on getting my shit furnished because come next weekend, daddy daycare would start.

What’s so crazy is that I always thought it would be Sidnesha that I had to worry about, when it was actually Denim’s ass. She could let that liquor get in her system tonight all she wanted and give her courage, but I swear to God I would embarrass the fuck out of her ass tonight. I knew the type of shit that she would be on the second I went over to the table and spoke. I heard the slur in her speech, so I already knew how she was coming at a nigga tonight.

I probably should have gone about it differently as far as the way I just dropped this bomb on my baby mamas, but in my defense, they knew that I was seeing someone. Every time I went over to them, they threw little comments out about me having a girl, so to be honest, they knew; they just didn’t know who.

“I’ll be back,” I said to Dru as I walked away.

I jogged down the steps and then speed-walked to catch up with Normani, who was pretty much already out of the building. She had driven her own car, and the way she was walking, it really looked like she was getting ready to head for her shit and leave a nigga. I made it out the doors, and saw her, but she was walking so fuckin’ fast, moving those little ass fuckin’ feet.

“Normani! Yo! Slow the fuck down, yo! Fuck is you going?” I asked, doing a light jog so I could catch up with her.

I made it in front of her, and that’s when I saw that she was crying.

“Why you leaving? What are you crying for?” I asked, and instead of answering, she tried to move around me.

It’s like she was embarrassed that I had caught her crying. I blocked her path, not letting her walk around, and I looked down at her, still trying to figure out what the fuck was going on with her. I ain’t know if somebody had done something to her or said something, and she wasn’t making it any better by not telling me.

“I just. I don’t know. I just feel like I don’t fit in with—”

“Who the fuck are you trying to fit in with?” I asked because she wasn’t making any sense.

“Don’t curse at me, Billionaire!” she screamed.

I think this was the first time I had seen her upset like this.

“Aight. Aight. Tell me what happened, though. Why you dipping out on the party? You weren’t even about to tell me that you left,” I said.
