I feel like a petulant child as I walk into the kitchen and stomp upstairs to my room. Kicking off the heels, I grab my phone to text Andrew and cancel my date with him. There’s no way in hell Andrew would ever be able to measure up to the man that just drove me wild with his touch. I wasn’t going to waste my time or his by even trying.

I flop down on my bed, and my hand reaches for the apex of my thighs. I close my eyes and remember how his hands had expertly guided me to my release. There was definitely something to be said for experience, and now that I've experienced Levi Brandon there was no way I was going to forget what happened.

In fact, my new mission in life was for it to happen again.

Even if he is Vayda’s dad.

“Dad, did you get the soda I asked for?” Vayda asks, bouncing into the kitchen as I flip the burgers on the grill.

“Yeah, pour me some as well, won’t ya?” I ask, smiling at her. I was not taking a chance on alcohol tonight. I needed to keep all my bearings running smoothly if I was going to avoid Oakley. When Vayda told me Oakley was staying over, I rudely objected only to get a confused stare from Vayda. Oakley has been sleeping over at our place a couple of nights a week for years. I quickly covered my tracks and told her I had a bad day.

So here I was flipping burgers on a Saturday night pretending that I didn’t finger-fuck my daughter’s best friend two weeks ago.

“Hi Mr. Brandon,” Oakley says as she joins us in the kitchen.

Her voice makes my cock twitch with anticipation, a new habit since it experienced the luscious heat of her mouth first hand.

“Hey, Oakley,” I reply, keeping my eyes firmly on the grill.

I catch sight of her through my peripheral vision. How the fuck am I supposed to focus when she’s wearing a light summer dress that barely covers her ass? The thin straps over her shoulders expos

e the smooth skin of her chest and back, making my mouth water more than the burgers on the grill.

“Are the burgers almost done, dad?” Vayda asks, passing me a glass of soda.

“Yeah, almost. Just a few more minutes. Are you girls going to take them upstairs?” I ask, hoping to escape to my room as soon as possible.

“Nah, its such a lovely night Mr. B. Why don’t we all sit outside by the pool?” Oakley quips, her voice dripping with honey. I imagine her eyes sparkling with amusement, but I refuse to meet her gaze.

“Yeah, that’s a great idea,” my daughter chimes in. “We'll sit outside, and you can tell us about your bad day." Vayda starts gathering flatware, and I give her a smile over my shoulder.

I see Oakley watching me with a smoldering gaze, a sexy grin tugging at the corners of her mouth. I know she knows that I’m trying to avoid her, but she’s not letting up. “Yeah, Mr. B. Why don’t you tell us about your bad day?”

I clench my fist over the spatula in my hand. If I don’t agree, Vayda will know something is up. “Sure, you two go ahead.”

I hear steps receding toward the patio and sigh audibly when Oakley’s scent drifts over me.

“You know, you might not want to make it so damn obvious that you’re avoiding me. A girl has feelings.” Oakley flashes me a provocative grin before she strides out of the kitchen.

After my divorce four years ago, I never thought I would want a woman again, at least not this bad. Rebecca had cheated on me and left me heartbroken and bitter. However, Oakley’s proving more tenacious than I first thought. All these years I’ve met my needs whenever Vayda was away, by picking up a woman in a bar and sending her home right after.

I had fought for Vayda tooth and nail until Rebecca finally agreed that I could have sole-custody and we switch off weekends and holidays. I wanted to keep Vayda in the same home and neighborhood she grew up in as well as the same school district. I didn’t want her life to be completely altered.

At the time, I never realized how much that would infringe on having a sex life. Though I don’t regret having my daughter live with me at all. I’m much happier having her here with me.

Vayda has urged me to date over the years, but I’ve never felt comfortable bringing another woman into our home when she was here. And to be honest, for the past two years, I’ve only been screwing other women trying to get Oakley off my mind in the first place.

Now that I know the soft moans she made as she lost control, I don’t want another woman—I want Oakley. I want to hear her say my name as I ram myself into her. I want to lose myself in her mouth, in her body…

“Fuck,” I curse as I burn my hand on the hot grill. As my skin starts to glow from the burn, I shake my head and grab some ice before heading outside with the burgers.

The girls are chatting a mile a minute as I set the burgers on the table.

“So how’d your date go with Andrew?” Vayda asks Oakley in a teasing voice. I avoid her gaze, but my ears are burning to hear her answer.
