Chapter One

“Sure you’re okay with all this?” It was the last question before the dirty deed began and Nicholas Speed was the one to put it out there.

Five cocks probably diminished in size as Sable toyed with the idea of pulling the tease’s card. She wondered how the fellas might respond if she said she’d changed her mind.

“You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do,” Doc Andrews said.

Sable curled a lock of hair around her forefinger. Ogling the men in her suite wasn’t exactly a chore. Come to think of it, their offers were kind of cute, real nice in fact. She recognized the second chance for an escape route, an out if she wanted one.

Moistening her lips, she studied each of them before she said, “I’m good to go.”

She didn’t grab hold of that final lifeline. She didn’t want it, didn’t need it.

What these men didn’t realize was something she’d probably never tell them. They were being used for a very specific reason.

Mere hours away from a finalized divorce and legally separated for over two years, Sable wanted to ensure her ex-husband didn’t do anything foolish to stop the pending formalities. She’d been here before—not in an over-priced suite with five handsome strangers she planned to fuck—but within hours of a finalized divorce. Four times to be exact.

She had no reason to believe the fifth approaching hour would be any different than the other four. She sighed. “Then again. Five may be my lucky number after all.”

Mac McCall cocked his head and squinted. “Are you up to something, vixen?”

Not yet, but she would soon be “up to no good” and these men would help her. When she left them behind later in the morning, she’d make sure her ex’s cronies saw her and she’d make them understand.

She didn’t belong to a McCoy anymore. And if Tabor McCoy’s treasured son still wanted her, he’d have her with a clear understanding. She would return to him as damaged goods.

“Have you ever been with a few men at one time, lover?” Nicholas Speed had been the first one to flirt. Earlier that same evening, he’d been the first to buy her a drink, the first to walk his fingers up the inside of her thigh. If she had her way about things, he’d be the first inside her, too. Nicholas Speed would soon stroke her past her insecurities and help her beyond the unnecessary self-loathing.

“A woman never tells her secrets,” she whispered, crooking her finger back and forth.

Harley McCall sat beside her. He peered down at her as if he adored her, but Sable wasn’t a foolish young woman. While age was still on her side, she w

asn’t naïve or outright stupid. Harley, like the other four, had followed her to the penthouse floor for the same reason she had taken him by the hand and led him there.

They were using one another.

She had something he wanted, something only she could probably give him—the willingness to go to bed with five handsome strangers.

It probably wasn’t easy to find women who were willing to bed them all at the same time. These men were from Trouble, Tennessee, and while the founding fathers of the town were reputed to have honorable intentions, they also had quite a reputation for illicit pleasures, too.

They enjoyed sharing.

Maybe they’d happened upon the club in Drover by chance, but they hadn’t met her by simple consequences because of their nightclub choices. Sable had been planning this meet for months.

Ever since Trouble had become an established town, women from all walks of life and all levels of abuse had come to recognize Trouble’s founding fathers. They were heroes in their own right, men who wouldn’t back down from a good old-fashioned fist fight if the reason they were brawling had anything to do with protecting a woman.

“We want you to be sure,” Harley said, his brow furrowing as he caressed her arm. “We can turn on the music, dance a little, talk a little, and maybe later—”
