“He’s finished. She’s out of his room.” He hangs up and smiles darkly as his hungry eyes drop down my body.

Oh my fucking God, he just called for the other men. I turn and run.

I run for my life down the stairs two at a time and I can hear men yahooing in the distance.

No. No.

I run as fast as I can and I burst through the doors and back out onto the deck. I run over to the side and hide behind one of the shipping containers. The rain is coming down really hard.

I hear the double doors burst open and all the men yell excitedly. “She’s here somewhere. Find her.”

Mac

I am just drifting off to sleep when I hear a commotion outside in the hall. The boys are all cheering.

I hear her scream.

They found her.

I roll over and shake my head as uneasiness passes over me. She screams again and I hear one of the men cry out in pain. I smirk to myself. She’s obviously just hurt someone. Feisty little bitch, I will give her that.

I start to drift off again and I hear her cry out in pain.

I frown. For fuck’s sake, I don’t need this shit. I’m tired.

For another ten minutes, I doze, and then the sound of a frantic bang on the door wakes me.

“Help me. Help me!” she screams as the door handle jiggles frantically.

Go away.

I close my eyes again.

“He won’t fucking help you,” I hear Ian call out. The hairs on the back of neck stand to attention. Fuck, I hate that guy.

I roll onto my back and stare at the ceiling through the darkness with my hands behind my head as I listen.

I hear her struggling and fighting the group of men in the hallway. She’s a hellcat all right.

I should have let them kill her. It would have been way less dramatic.

I don’t have the time or energy for this shit.

“Please. No,” she cries.

Fucking hell. Annoyed, I hop up and pull on my shorts. I stand behind the door with my hands on my hips as I listen for a moment.

“Oh, I’m going to give it to you good.” Ian growls. “You’re going to pay for that bitch.”

That’s it. He’s not fucking getting her. I open the door in a rush and the boys look up from their spot on the floor where they are struggling to hold her down.

“Get off her,” I snap.

“M-mac,” Ian stammers as he looks up. “You don’t want her.”

I glare at him.
