I want him today.
I try to prepare myself for his arrival. I dress for the day and put on some makeup, wanting to look my best on the day we make things official. I want him to see beauty in me when he makes love to me for the first time. But I guess he already does, or we wouldn’t be in this place together now.
He wants me unconditionally.
Outside, I hear his car pull up and rush to the window to see him. Our eyes meet as he gets out of his car and I race down the stairs, flying into his open arms. He catches me, holding me up like I don’t weigh a thing. Our lips collide and the moment explodes with sparks. I knew it would be like this. I knew it would be this special. And in my heart, I think I knew we were destined to find one another again.
When we pull apart, he sighs, and I see the relief on his face. He cups my cheeks as he sets me down on the ground.
“I thought I’d lost you,” he says in a hoarse voice.
“You’ll never lose me,” I whisper. “I don’t know how we’re going to do this. How we’re going to make this work, but we’re going to make it okay. We have to.”
“Yes we will,” he growls. “You’re mine now, August. And no one can ever take that away from us.”
The morning passes in a blur. I invite him inside my apartment and we spend time fumbling about on the bed together, touching one another, pleasuring one another but never going all the way. Someone comes to collect my things ready to be shipped home. In between hauling boxes out to the van, we steal kisses, caresses, whispered sweet nothings.
My heart is aflame. This is what I always wanted. I still don’t know how we’re going to make this work when we get back on US soil, but that’s a problem for us to solve later. For now, I just want to indulge in this moment, to feel good.
And he sure knows how to make me feel good.
When all of my stuff is packed away, Ethan drives us to the airport ready to take me home, one hand on my thigh. I feel exhilarated, as though I’m on a rollercoaster and not just in the passenger seat of a car driving the speed limit. Ethan seems to amplify everything, to make my life seem so much more exciting. I wonder if it’ll be this way forever, but I know right away that it’s stupid to wonder.
I know it’ll always be this way.
“You ever been on a private jet before?” Ethan asks me, his hand moving up my leg. I shake my head, too full of lust to speak right now. He smiles. “Well, you’re in for a treat. I’ve got champagne, a huge flatscreen TV, the works…and a bedroom, of course.”
My heart skips a beat. This is it. I’m going to lose my virginity on a private jet. The thought alone sends me into a tizzy. I know this is going to be so special. A special location, a special scenario, and a special person to share it all with.
By the time we board our own private plane, I’m shaking with anticipation. I barely take in the surroundings, the beautiful white leather seats and hardwood interior, the glasses of champagne that have been laid out for us. All I care about is getting Ethan into the bedroom with me.
And he seems to have the same thing in mind. He takes me by the hand and pulls me through to the bedroom at the back of the plane. A beautiful white bed sits in the room, the lights dimmed just right. I stare, knowing what’s about to happen. My heart thumping hard in my ribcage.
We’re told to be seated for the start of the flight and I oblige, but all I can think about is that bed as we sip our champagne. Ethan lets my dad know that he’s bringing me home. I try to clear any lingering betrayal from my mind because I don’t want to think about it right now. Because as soon as we’re told we can walk around, I know exactly where I’m going.
Straight to the place where I’ll lose my innocence.
Chapter Twelve
Ethan
I’ve finally got her exactly where I want her. I’ve been waiting all this time to get her alone, to finally get to explore her properly. Now that we’re miles up in the air, we don’t have to worry about what people on the ground are going to think. As we make our way to the bedroom together, I can feel my cock hardening between my legs. Today, I’m going to fuck her for the first time and make her mine.
