And I’ll look at you…

“Fine,” I say as I hop off the counter. “But no laughing.”

“I would never,” he says as he grabs the pizza cutter out of the drawer and gets to work.

I have to pass him on the way to my room and a tempting thought occurs. It’s not big, but it feels monumental.

Just do it!

I walk by him, reach out, and drag my palm along his naked back as I pass. Oooh, that’s good!

It’s the first time I’ve been the one initiating a touch. He probably doesn’t notice, but it’s a big step for me. Last week, I would never have been able to do that.

I hurry down the hallway, proud of my sudden boldness, and step into my room. I grab my iPad full of adorable forest critters and turn to leave. Wait…

I pause in the doorway and then without thinking too much about it, I grab the charcoal portrait I made of Emmett and hurry back to him.

The sight that greets me is truly incredible. Emmett in my kitchen, our kitchen, opening a bottle of red wine shirtless.

He’s crashed into my boring little universe and is quickly changing everything. I can imagine him in my cartoon world with his big muscles and giant cock, the little creatures turning from adorable to horny as they look up at him in awe.

“Do you like red?” he asks as he pops the cork. There are two empty wine glasses set up in front of him.

“Like it? I usually chug it from the bottle.”

My heart sinks and my eyes close in embarrassment at my stupid joke. He laughs and I instantly feel better, ripping my eyes open to see the look on his face as he chuckles. I smile too as I hurry over, a little more confident.

“Let’s see this,” he says as I hand him the iPad. I casually slip his portrait on top of the microwave when he’s not looking.

Emmett hands me the bottle and I pour the wine as he starts scrolling through some of my illustrations with a smile on his face.

“I knew you’d be good,” he says as he cycles through my latest pieces—a series of dolphins with snorkel gear on for a sports equipment company. “These are amazing.”

“They’re silly.”

“No, they’re not. They make people happy. That’s not silly at all.”

I feel my cheeks blushing at the compliment. I guess they do make people happy. That’s not that silly, especially these days when happiness is in short supply.

“Thank you,” I whisper as he smiles at a picture of a panda astronaut.

“What’s that one?” he says, nodding to the microwave.

“You saw that?” I say with a quiver.

He nods. “Let me see it.”

My body fills with nerves as I grab it and hand it over.

“Oh,” he says as his dark eyes fixate on it. He grins. “You missed an inch.”

He looks up at me with a wolfish grin.

“I didn’t get a good enough look, I guess.”

His eyes heat up as he looks me up and down. “I guess we’ll have to remedy that.”

I gulp. “I guess so.”

He licks his lips, looking like he’s about to devour me.

“Pizza first,” he says. “And then you can take all the time you want to study my cock.”

I smile shyly. “Sounds like a perfect Friday night.”

“Should I open another bottle?” Emmett says as he pours the last drop of red into my glass.

I’m sitting on the couch, looking up at him in his full glory. His very lickable abs are at my eye-line and I’m having a hard time looking away. He doesn’t seem to mind in the least.

“I’m a little tipsy,” I say, feeling a bit lightheaded, although an argument can be made that it’s from all of the tanned skin pulled taut over beautiful muscle in front of me that’s causing my head to be a little loopy.

“Later then,” he says as he puts the bottle down on the glass coffee table with a clunk. “I want you nice and alert for what’s coming next.”

I clear my throat as I drag my eyes up to his. “What is coming next, exactly?”

He grins and my heart flutters. I’m already so wet. My pussy must know what’s coming even if I don’t.

“Come here and I’ll show you,” he says as he extends his hand.

I look at his smooth palm and curled fingers before sliding my hand into it. “I thought you’d never ask.”

He helps me up and before we know it, he’s guiding me to the bedroom. I follow him in a daze, my mind rolling a million miles a minute. I can’t believe this is happening. It’s actually happening…

I focus on his masculine back with all of his hulking muscles that move and ripple with every step he takes. It calms my mind.

I don’t have to be scared. Not with Emmett.
