No way in hell!

Untangling myself from Callie, I glare at her grinning face. “You need to stay in here. I don’t want you out there with all those guys.”

She starts to laugh. “You’re joking right? If you think I’m interested in anyone else, you can think again… Now go rock this place.”

With that she shoves me out the door with a pinch to my ass.

As I jump up on to the small stage area, my attention is drawn to the floor beside where my drum kit is set up…and I nearly fall over my feet. What the fuck!

The girl I was with up in Lexington is standing there with a smug look on her face, in the middle of a group of girls.

I quickly glance to Donovan and Phoenix to see if they’ve noticed, and they have.

Seeing her standing there reminds me of the dick I was before I’d decided to go after what I wanted for a change, no matter how complicated my life is. Callie had been upset and the last thing I want is for her to get upset again, because of me.

As long as the girl keeps her distance then there should be nothing to worry about. I hope.

Chapter 15

Callie

A grinning Thalia usually means trouble. I also know why she’s grinning. I’ve changed in the week that I’ve been with Reece, although we haven’t been together all week, just knowing he’s there and he’s mine has changed me. Oh, I’ve had my doubts during the week as to whether the feelings that were so obvious between us last weekend would still be here the next time I was to see him, but it’s clear that they are.

Dropping down onto the sofa in Phoenix’s vacated spot, I await the start of the inquisition, which I know is coming.

“So, um, you teasing Reece…Oh my, God, Callie. I thought I was hearing things. That was so not like you.” Thalia sits back down and puts her legs under her. “Callie…say something. You’re driving me crazy.”

I think it might be easier getting on with it, rather than having her going on and on before I spill, which can be annoying.

“Well, what can I say? He brings out the wicked in me.”

“Callie.” She punches me in the arm.

“Ouch!“

“Never mind ouch that was only a tap…I want more details than that…and those shoes.” She starts laughing. “You’ll be lucky if you make it outside this place before he’s wanting up that skirt. I can’t ever remember seeing him look like that before.”

I hold my legs out in front of me, and I do have to admit they look pretty impressive. The playful colors and the silver and purple high heels make my legs look longer than they are. They are sinfully wicked, which is why I liked them the moment I saw them. I wasn’t exaggerating. Reece really brings out something wicked in me.

“After what happened this afternoon I wanted to drive him wild with lust while he’s on stage.” I fiddle with the edge of my top without looking at her and let the wheels turn. Perhaps I should count because you can bet within five seconds she’ll be asking me ‘what happened this afternoon.’

“Hang on. What happened this afternoon?”

Hmm. Okay, I was two out. “I was in the break room when he showed up at work earlier.” I grin. “We did it on the table.”

“Eww. Please tell me you’re joking, and that you didn?

?t have sex on the table we use to eat from.” she looks shocked, her eyes widening before they narrow.

“No you didn’t. This is a joke to try and shut me up,” she says crossing her arms in a bit of a huff. I smile at the outrage on her face. If she weren’t so funny, I’d be pissed that she’d think I’m lying to her.

“All because you have sex wherever and whenever you want to with Phoenix, doesn’t mean I don’t with Reece.”

Her arms go slack as well as her jaw as she’s starting to realize I’m not lying to her.

“It was hot as hell.” I laugh. “He ripped my panties right off,” I say feeling smug.

“But…but…there’s no lock on the door. You really did the deed on the table?”
