Still giggling, I ask, “Do you really want to be without me tonight or do you want to hold me all night? Because I’m telling you, I’ll sleep a whole lot better if you’re wrapped around me.” He’ll be the first guy to ever sleep in your room!
He grins. “Well, putting it like that, then I guess I can face your Dad again, and what about your mom?” He groans, opening the truck door for me.
Jumping inside, I wait for him to join me in the cab before replying to his question, “My mom is sweet, but I have to warn you that I told her about you and why I wanted to stay here to finish college.”
He groans and throws his head back against the seat. “She’s going to kill me for making her baby cry.” I stay silent and let him stew. He leans forward and starts the ignition before pulling out of the field and heading back to my house. “She is going to kill me, right?”
I laugh. “She will love you, just like I do.”
“What did you say?”
“Nothing.”
He growls. “Callie?”
“I said, I love you…now don’t crash the truck.”
He chuckles. “Only you babe. Only you.” With a glance to me then back to the road, he says, “I’ll sleep with you tonight, but there really is no way in hell I’m having sex in your parents’ house. You can try and seduce me all you want, but, just no way. Actually, promise me now Callie. You won’t try and get in my jeans.”
He is so funny and knows there is no way he’d be able to refuse me, but in truth, I’m not sure I’d be able to have sex under my parents’ roof either. “I promise not to seduce you… Happy now?”
“Not really. I love you in seducing mode, but I can wait until we get back home. You are coming back with me, right?” he asks with a slight hesitation in his voice, as though he’s unsure of me.
He deserves to suffer a bit more for the ass that he was to me, but I don’t really have the energy to be like that tonight. Not after what we’ve just done in the back of the truck. That was special. He really did make love to me. I very much doubt I’ll ever forget tonight, it was magical.
“I’ll come back as long as you promise not to be an ass and piss me off again.” I curl up in the seat and watch the world go by through the window. I can’t see anything because it’s pitch black – so quiet.
“Now babe, I promise to try and not be an ass and piss you off again, but this whole relationship thing is new to me. If I do something to piss you off, I’m going to rely on you to call me on it.”
I smile. At least he’s honest. “I can do that.”

“Callie, you should be up by now… Um… Um.”
I shoot up in bed holding the covers up to my chin. I’m clothed just not in my pajamas because, yeah, it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t tease my guy.
“Mom,” I move the hair out of my face and try not to glance at Reece who is sprawled out next to me on top of the covers, where he insisted on sleeping. He’s lying on his stomach with an arm thrown over my hips.
Why can’t my mom back out of my room and give us some privacy instead of standing glaring at me as though she’s pissed. I’m twenty-two and she knows I have sex, although I did promise about the no sex in bedroom thing. I don’t have anything to feel guilty about because although I did kinda tease Reece with my sexy pink babydoll nightdress, nothing sexual happened in here.
“Mom, nothing happened here,” I whisper stroking Reece’s arm across my lap. He twitches slightly, which tells me he’s awake and not wanting to face my Mom while lying in bed with her daughter and his morning boner. I snicker.
“I’m glad you find this funny.”
“Mom, please can we do this later. I don’t want to wake him up.”
“Is he the reason why you want to stay here for school?”
I nod. “But, I’m going back to home with him.”
She smiles and without another word, walks out of my bedroom, closing the door behind her.
Reece groans. “I thought she was going to demand you wake me up.” He flips on to his back and my eyes widen. Hot!
“You’re already awake.”
