“Mmm.” Arching up, my whole body quivers and then her words penetrate the lust clouding my brain, and I pause, holding her hips still. “I didn’t turn them on.”

Our eyes meet and I imagine her frown matches mine. “Didn’t you?”

“I thought about it after the pool, then I became sleepy, and fell asleep.” She grabs both ends of the robe and pulls them together, her eyes searching frantically around.

My cock is still hard as rock in her and the need to come is overwhelming, but I try and force it back at the panic I see on Andie’s face. I even think that she’s so panicked that she doesn’t even realize how close I am to finishing.

“Sawyer, do something.”

I tug her closer and wrap my arms around her body, making sure that I get her naked breasts crushed against my chest. “Don’t move because I’m going to do my best to fuck you slowly.” I pull out, and thrust inside. “Just.” I do it again. “Like.” And again. “This.”

She moans into my mouth as I capture her lips in a fierce kiss that has her pussy closing snuggly around me that my balls explode without warning.

We gasp together for breath as we both continue slowly loving the other, our pleasure shouted in long, guttural moans.

Andie collapses around me, which I enjoy, whispering, “Who turned the pool lights on?” into my ear.

I clasp her head and hold her against me while I close my eyes afraid to even think about anyone finding us asleep on the loungers. Let alone someone moving around completely unobserved because I was too tired to be aware. Too sated and with the woman I love in my arms to care.

A sinking feeling starts to gather in my stomach and it won’t budge.

Andie

Sawyer isn’t the only one with a sick feeling in his stomach after the discovery that neither one of us had turned the pool lights on.

I’ve gone over it in my mind and I know they weren’t on when we’d gotten out of the pool, no matter how sleepy I was. So if Sawyer hadn’t gotten up to turn them on then that meant that someone had been there and switched them on and seen us. But who?

It actually makes me sick to the stomach to think about, which was why I passed on breakfast and settled on a lonesome latte.

I know Sawyer is worried when even in the same breath he’s telling me not too.

After the discovery though, we’d wrapped up and once we’d locked up, stayed inside with the curtains drawn. We were so unnerved that Sawyer insisted on searching the house from top to bottom, which I was grateful for. Everything had seemed to be as it was left, but someone had been there.

It was frightening to realize that they could have done anything to us while we slept, but it scared us both that it could be someone who knows us from the College.

My suggestion of it being Professor Long was met with a frown, just like Sawyer’s suggestion of Jeremy was by me.

It could be one of them.

Or it could be neither.

But one thing I do feel as I enter the room for today’s lecture is that it’s the calm before the storm.

My gut churns as I take my seat beside Jeremy who gives me a quizzical look before glancing into his textbook. “What’s going on?” I nudge into him.

“It’s weird, okay?” He eventually meets my gaze. “You shouldn’t be doing what you are. Neither of you should be,” he whispers. “I can’t believe for one minute that you’d risk everything you’ve worked so hard for, for him,” he spits in anger.

“Keep your voice down,” I hiss. “We kept our distance for a long time and I really am sorry that I’ve disappointed you, but you’re my friend. I don’t want to lose you.”

“It’s difficult, okay? My feelings for you go deeper than mere friendship, and you know that. It isn’t easy for me to just ‘carry on as normal’.” He slumps in his chair.

I pause for a moment then mutter a pitiful, “I’m sorry.”

No more is said although we do exchange looks when Professor Janice Long strides into the room, heading toward the desk where she drops her things.

“What’s she doing in here?”
