“Bar, it is. I’ll have the guys meet us. We have some details to discuss.”

Deciding on a pub on the water with beautiful views, I tap out a quick group message asking the guys to meet us there. Within an hour, the girls are on their third round, dancing on a dance floor with no other bodies, just people watching from their tables. The guys and I pick a table as far away from the girls as possible so we can get down to business.

“Okay, we have the funds to get Max to Europe. I’ve found a private medical purpose plane that is available next week to get him there, provided he’s discharged from the hospital. The room is already reserved for him at the treatment center and they’re prepared to start as soon as he arrives,” Sam rambles the second he sits down with his beer.

“Seems like you got everything taken care of,” Nash laughs, and Cam and I smile. It’s true, Sam doesn’t wait for anyone to take point; he’s always at the top of his game.

“Someone had to do it and there’s no time to waste.”

“Will one of you sexy Australian men come and dance with us? Pleasssseeeee,” Jacey whines in a yell across the bar. I shake my head, already having received the warning from Max. Cam looks to Sam and they both pretend as if nobody yelled for them. However, Nash, the sucker that he is, doesn’t skip a beat and joins the girls.

It’s quite funny, actually. Nash is trying to grind up behind Jacey while she spastically jumps around off beat. Aubs, in the middle of the dance floor, does some turn thing that looks so beautiful, I can tell why she wanted to be a dancer.

“Is there anything left for us to do, then?” I ask the twins.

“Nope. It’s all set. Just need Max to get better so he can fly. The ball’s in his court, now,” Sam responds.

“Well, we need to work with the hotel on the tour dates we agreed to do,” Cam interjects and pulls out his phone calendar. “They’ve given us the option of ten shows in a row, or ten shows spaced out over a few months. I would prefer to space them out so it doesn’t affect our careers. Thoughts?”

“I can’t take much more t

ime off before Wayne has it with me. Spaced out works best for me,” I respond.

“Me, too. I can’t leave the firm in the hands of a junior rep for almost two weeks. I’ll come back to Hello Kitty panty and bra sets. The world would explode, as would my bosses, and their bosses,” Sam offers.

“Anyone know about Nash?” I ask and look back to the trio. Things have changed in the last minute or two. The song’s slowed down, and Jacey’s attached to one side of Nash while Aubs is on the other. Looking like some sort of tantric sex position, the three slowly and sensually dance around in small circles. When Aubrey’s back turns to us, I notice Nash’s hand firmly placed on her ass, and the little minx flips her hair and winks at me in the process.

“He’s going to blow,” Cam laughs, and Sam joins in when he sees the spectacle I’m watching.

“Five. Four,” Sam starts to count down. “Three. Two. One.” I’m not even sure if I waited until one to fly out of my seat and snatch Aubrey from Nash’s grasp.

“Took you long enough,” she slurs, wrapping her arms around my neck.

“Do that shit again, and …”

“And what, you big tough manly man? What are you gonna do? Not talk to me? Nope, cause Max would beat your ass when he’s well enough to do it. You gonna withhold sex? Nope, cause I know how much you like it. Gonna show me what it feels like? You wouldn’t fucking dare.”

God damn. How is it possible this drunken little dancer can tell me off and get me so hard I can’t think of anything other than taking her to the bathroom and showing her exactly how much I do like fucking her?

“You guys ready to get out of here?” I yell, never breaking eye contact with Aubrey, and she giggles. Fucking giggles. She wins and she knows it.

“Food!” Jacey yells. “I’m hungry. Feed me!”

“Oh, I got something to feed you,” Nash mumbles, and Aubrey stares daggers at him.

“There will be no feeding of that,” she says, glancing down to Nash’s crotch. “To any friend of mine. Keep it in your pants, Nash, or you’ll find that appendage missing.”

“Dammmmnnnnnn,” Cameron and Sam chortle as they approach.

“These two are too drunk for a diner. I’ll take them back to Max’s and order pizza or something. I’ll catch up with you guys tomorrow.”

Nash tries his hardest to come back with us, but again, Aubrey shuts him down. She subtly threatens his manhood and giving warning glares to Jacey who blushes innocently, though I doubt the girl has an innocent bone in her body.

I help the girls to the car, deposit them both in the backseat and set out for Max’s apartment. The drive isn’t far, but I can’t get there fast enough. Max was right. The squeals. Oh, the squeals. About everything. Every fast food place we pass, Jacey whines for a cheeseburger. Every store, Aubrey cries for a dress. When we pass the pack of men riding their bikes down the road, both girls hang out the window, hooting and hollering at how sexy they are in their spandex shorts. It’s a shit show, but I am amused to see Aubrey in her natural element. She and Emma together are one thing, but Jacey brings out a whole side of Aubrey I’d never thought possible.

“All right, ladies, here we are.”

They jump out of the car and rush to the lift, fighting over who is going to get to use the bathroom first. It must be habit—since Max’s apartment has two toilets–but I don’t argue. I let them fight because it’s adorable, to say the least.
