Brooklyn

We were packed and ready to head to the airport over an hour and a half before our flight was scheduled. I followed Abe out of the room and to the reception so he could hand in the keys and handle the payment. I kept my head down the entire time, feeling a bit guilty about the mess we’d made of the room.

Minutes later, Abe headed outside, and I followed. I was surprised for a bit when he didn’t immediately head for the parking lot.

“What about the car?” I asked.

He glanced at me over his shoulder. “I told you we only had it for a day, right? It went back yesterday.”

“Then how are we getting to the airport?”

“The same way we arrived, of course.”

It was easy enough to figure out he meant a car would be coming to pick us up. Right on cue, a car stopped in front of the inn, and my eyebrows shot up. Of course, he’d asked for a limo.

The driver jumped out to get our luggage for us, and instead of waiting, Abe stepped forward and pulled the door open, then stood aside and waved for me to go in first. I glanced at him, then at the driver that had come to a stop on the other side of the door, and I slid inside. Abe followed me, and the driver closed the door behind us, then moved to the front.

“We need to be at the airport in a bit over an hour, please let me know if we can't make that time. Other than that, please have the partition up.”

Abe’s voice was smooth and clear. I’d never heard him speak that way before, and for some reason, it made my body shiver.

“Yes, sir,” the driver said readily.

The partition between us and the driver’s seat went up, and Abe leaned back in the seat, throwing an arm around my back, as he stretched his legs out.

“This side of you looks sexier than I thought it would,” I mused to myself.

Abe arched an eyebrow, then let loose a chuckle. “I’m sorry, what?”

I shrugged. “I always imagined what it would be like, to watch you acting like the big boss that you are. I read quite a bit, actually…”

He curled the edges of his lips up, looking amused. “Oh, really? What kind of things do you read? Don’t tell me the same romance stories from before.”

I pursed my lips. “I do read more than just romance stories, you know.” I paused. “But you’re right. There were plenty of stories like those with really awesome titles, about big, bad, and handsome CEOs having all sorts of fun at the office.”

Quite a few times, I’d had fantasies and dreams of Abe fucking me in his office, but they’d only made me cry before. I was letting myself be crazy for a bit at the moment, so remembering those fantasies made my body—and face—feel hot. I wouldn’t tell him any of that, though. It was more information than he really needed.

“Tell me more about these books of yours.”

I raised my eyebrows at him, already guessing what was on his mind. Then I grinned and leaned closer. I figured, since I’d already given in once, there was no reason to keep holding back.

“Why don’t I just show you instead?” I asked huskily, turning around so I pressed close to his side and licked his earlobe. “We’ve got about an hour in here, after all.”

Abe didn’t even try to put up a front, immediately wrapping me in his arms and taking my lips in a long, wet kiss, stealing my breath. I patted his chest to get him to ease up a bit so I could breath, and he did pull back for like a second, just long enough for me to drag in a breath, then his lips were on me again. I wrapped my hands around his neck, sliding my fingers into his hair and clenching it hard, tugging on it so he would give me more room. He pulled back reluctantly with a growl, allowing me to pull in gasps of breath.

Abe wasn’t deterred, his lips moving to the side of my face, kissing from my temple and down to my cheek, then down the side of my neck.

“I really love your dress today,” he growled, then nipped my skin.

All I could do was gasp and hold on. One of his arms stayed wrapped around me, but he brought his other hand to my leg. I was in one of my short dresses, and he slipped his hand between my thighs, sliding slowly up the inside of my thigh, making me moan and shiver and squirm against him. He didn’t do more than that, though, his lips moving from my neck to my chest and down my cleavage.

“Don’t toy with me, Abe,” I growled at him, tugging sharply on his hair.

He just laughed playfully, dragging his nails on the inside of my thigh. My whole body shuddered and I clutched myself closer to him.

“Who’s toying with you,” Abe said innocently, looking up at me with wide eyes. It was ruined, though, because he had his face buried in my chest. “You haven’t given me much detail about your books, and you promised to show me something.”

“How could I show you anything when you’re doing this to me?” I complained, squirming.
