He raced to his chamber, set her down, turned her around, and unfastened her gown.
“My God, you’re so beautiful,” he whispered, turning her to face him. “I want you so much. To see him, his hands on you…” His eyes were dark and smoking as he descended and bit into the side of her neck.
Ally sucked in a breath. The pain of his teeth sinking into her skin twitched through her, followed by a wave of clenching nirvana. Pleasure-pain. She had heard of such things. She had read of such things. But to actually experience the exquisite torture of it… And she ached to feel it again.
“You’re mine, Alexandra.” He brushed her gown off her shoulders and sank his teeth into the soft flesh there.
She gasped again at the pleasure and pain coursing through her, gritting her teeth while she tried to inch forward. Had to get nearer…nearer to his body heat, to his raw masculine presence.
“I won’t ever let anyone else touch you. Only I will possess you, Alexandra.”
He turned her and removed her corset, and soon she stood before him wearing only her chemise and drawers, her legs trembling.
He tore her chemise down the middle and yanked it off of her onto the floor. She gasped again as he made the same work of her drawers. She stood before him naked, while he was still fully clothed, her pulse drumming, her nipples puckered and hard, her sex throbbing between her legs.
He pulled her close and whispered against her mouth, “Tell me you’re mine, Alexandra.”
She opened her mouth, but no words emerged. Inside she was shouting, “Yes, yes! I am yours, yours and only yours, forever!”
He gripped her more tightly, his short fingernails clawing into her flesh. “Say you’re mine. Say it, Alexandra.”
She quivered, and her blood turned to hot lava. “I’m yours, Evan.”
“And who is taking you this night?”
“You are. Only you.”
He crushed their lips together, and she melted against him, her whole body lost in a molten heat of passion and desire.
He kissed her hard, grinding against her, punishing her. It was a kiss of passion, yes, but it was also a kiss of punishment. Punishment she was only too happy to take. His groans were a vibration into her mouth rather than a sound. He growled like an animal, marking her, making her his mate. His brown eyes were feral and glazed over.
When he finally broke the kiss, they both sucked in deep breaths, as if coming up from water. Alexandra shook, her heart racing, her body on fire.
Evan cupped her breasts, thumbed her nipples gently at first, and then gave them each a hard pinch. “Did he put his mouth on them? Did he touch what is mine?”
Ally shook her head, her lips trembling, her body sizzling from his touch. “No. No, he didn’t. You stopped us before—”
She fought for breath as his lips clamped down on one nipple. No gentle love this time. He sucked hard, he bit, all the while tugging on the other one with his fingers. And in that moment, she had never been happier that Mr. Landon had not put his mouth on her breasts. Only Evan had, and that thought filled her with elation.
She squirmed, her sex quivering, her juices dampening her thighs. She was melting, melting into this amazing man who affected her like no other. She was his, limp in his arms. He could do with her what he would, and she was powerless to stop him.
