He caressed her cheek with his thumb. Were those flutters still from the elevator?

“They’ll be free.”

Heidi gulped as she imagined herself atop a platform with Phantom. Naked. Sucking his cock. The images in her mind shocked her, but at the same time, more moisture dripped from her pussy.

“Where are we going now?” Her voice cracked, and she hoped he didn’t notice.

“The upper floors of the club contain rooms that can be rented by the hour. Fully stocked for…whatever your pleasure.”

“But you used a key card.”

“Yes.”

“So?”

“So, I’m taking you to my private quarters.”

“What? I can’t possibly—”

The elevator dinged, and as the doors opened, Heidi closed her eyes. She wasn’t sure she wanted to see what the ow

ner of a BDSM club kept in his “private quarters.”

“Come on, teerak,” he said, taking her arm. “Open your eyes. You have nothing to fear from me. I promise you.”

Her stranger’s voice, deep and husky, had a hypnotic quality. She had no idea who he was, yet she’d let him touch her, finger her. And she wanted more. She had the desire—no, the need—to trust him.

Slowly she opened her eyes, seeing only a blur of color until her vision focused.

She had been expecting another assault on her senses, but instead, she stared into a beautifully decorated living room. Fine grain leather furniture in a deep burgundy surrounded a huge plasma television. In the corner was a bar, ornately carved out of what appeared to be cherry. To the right was a kitchen with stainless steel appliances. To the left were two doors, both closed.

“Wow,” was all she could say.

“Welcome to my home.” He stepped behind her, wrapped his arms around her waist, and pressed his lips to the side of her neck.

“You live here?” Her words came out breathy.

“Of course.”

“Why would you live at a club?”

“It makes sense. I can keep an eye on things.”

“Doesn’t the noise bother you?”

His lips moved against her skin. Was he smiling?

“Do you hear any noise?”

Heidi stopped to listen. Nothing. The loud din of the club had faded into nothingness. “Sound proof.”

“Yes. I thought it was prudent.” He released her, led her to the bar, and motioned for her to sit down on a stool. “Now, what can I get you? I have most everything.”

“Hmm. How about red wine?” She decided to be adventurous. “Something bold. An old vine zin, if you have it.”

He grinned his beautiful grin. “A woman after my own heart.” He pulled a bottle of wine out from under the counter. “I found this unique little vineyard in Paso Robles a few years ago. You’ll love it.” He opened the bottle, poured two glasses, and handed one to Heidi. “Cheers.” He clinked his glass to hers.

“Cheers.” Heidi took a sip and let the crisp dryness float on her tongue. “Mmm. It’s wonderful. Leather, and black raspberries. And just a touch of…”
