She pulsed against his lips and fingers, and a smooth veil of moisture cascaded over his hand like a soft blanket.

Damn, she’s a squirter.

He’d had his share of experience, but he’d never been with a woman who squirted. He’d always considered the g-spot orgasm to be a myth.

He found, suddenly, that he was thrilled beyond words.

He continued to lick her while he fumbled with his own pants and kicked off his boots. Condom? His wallet. “I’ll be right back, baby,” he said.

Angie was still writhing, coming down from her orgasm. Rafe found the condom and quickly sheathed himself.

And thrust into her.

Sweet Jesus, she’s tight. So tight and so slick. She enveloped him in moist heat. He pushed into her, out, and in again.

Her words swirled around him and bathed him in contentment. The sound of his name, the endearments, how much pleasure he was giving her—all met his ears and took away the solitude that had been his life for too long.

Far too long.

He thrust and he thrust, harder and faster, until he hit the precipice and spilled into her.

So close. So wonderful. He didn’t want to withdraw.

When he finally regained his senses, he realized he hadn’t even taken his shirt off. He’d missed the sensation of those lovely breasts against his chest. He smiled. There was always next time.

And there would definitely be a next time.

Chapter Five

“When are you going to stop worrying about me and settle down?”

Rafe adjusted his father’s humidifier. Damn thing wasn’t working right again. He’d have to get a new one at the pharmacy. At least they weren’t very expensive.

“I’m not even close to settling down, Dad. How about you? Ma’s been gone a couple years. You’re still a good-lookin’ man. There’s plenty of eligible ladies around here.”

“None who want a man who lives in a trailer.” He smiled. “Besides, I’m not lonely.”

“Stop selling yourself short. And I don’t believe you’re not lonely. Where is Lilia, anyway?”

“She went into town on errands.” He coughed. “You and your brother need to stop frettin’ over me.”

“Has Tom been by?”

“Just this morning. Said he got a job tendin’ bar over at the Bullfrog a couple nights a week. A job he says you turned down.”

“Yeah, turns out I got a better way to earn some extra cash.”

“Oh?”

“I’m giving riding lessons.”

Jack Grayhawk nodded. “You?

??re certainly qualified. No one understands horses like you do. You always amazed me.”

Rafe laughed. “You taught me everything I know. Tom too. You’re the best.”

“Not anymore, with my health the way it is.”
