She brushed her free hand through his hair as he simply stayed there and breathed. “Our forever.”
After a few quiet moments, he murmured, “My mom’s gonna freak the fuck out.”
“We should wait to tell anyone. It’s early yet. Let’s make sure this kid sticks first.”
“Babe, he’s gonna stick.” He tipped his face up to hers. “What about your travelin’?”
She shrugged and gave him a smile. “I wanted to go out and see the world,” she brushed the back of her fingers down his cheek and then cupped it, “but I was lucky and the world came to me instead.”
