“I’m sorry to disturb you,” she squeaks. I cock my head to the side, taking in the curves of her sexy body.
“You’re not disturbing me,” I tell her. Far from it, in fact. I’m glad she’s here. I’ve been waiting a lifetime for her, after all. I’ve told myself for a long time that there’s simply no one out there for me, knowing that I need a very specific woman to satisfy my needs. But now she’s standing right in front of me. “I’m your neighbor...my name is Kaylee.”
She holds her hand out for me to shake. I’m amused by her formality and how nervous she seems around me, but I hope she’ll get over that soon. I don’t want anything getting in the way of me getting to know her. I take her hand and shake it.
“A pleasure,” I say. “I’m Christian. How can I help you today?”
“Um, well…”
Before she can speak, Benny, my golden retriever, comes bounding up to the door and I watch as Kaylee’s face lights up. As he showers her in dog kisses she giggles, seeming to forget her nerves as she pets him. I watch her with intrigue. She’s more than just gorgeous, clearly. She obviously has a heart of gold too. Still, my eyes still linger on her curves and my cock seems to be doing all the thinking for me. I can’t stop thinking about how much I want her. I just want to grab her and carry her up to bed with me. But I have to hold back. I have to make sure that she and I are on the same page before I dive in at the deep end.
As Benny finally stops attacking her affectionately, Kaylee straightens up, looking a little flushed. Benny sits down by her feet and I watch him in amusement.
“He likes you a lot,” I smirk. “He doesn’t usually take well to strangers. He’s a sweet boy, but he had a rough life before me. He doesn’t normally like new people.”
“Well I’m glad he seems to like me,” Kaylee says, blushing scarlet. “That’s actually why I’m here...I’m starting a dog walking business. I’ve been giving out fliers around the neighborhood.”
She reaches into her bag and hands me one of her fliers, but I don’t even need to look at it. My heart is throbbing almost as much as my cock is right now. This is my opportunity to get closer to her, to ensure I see her again.
“I think you’d be a perfect dog walker. I’m out a lot on business in the city. Benny could use some company during the day. But I’ll do you one better. I’d like you to stay with him all day. I’ll pay you well. You won’t need to take on any other clients if you so choose. I’ll make sure you’re covered.”
Kaylee blinks in shock. “I...I don’t know what to say. Are you sure you want to do that?”
“Absolutely sure,” I almost growl. I’ve never been more certain of anything. Kaylee is the one, and I want her in my life in every way possible. What better way than to introduce her to Benny, the only other family I have? I don’t even know this woman yet, but I know I can trust her whole-heartedly.
“I...I don’t know how to thank you. I’m using the money to help pay for college art supplies,” she explains, unable to meet my eye as she speaks. “Having this job will make my life so much easier. Thank you so much. How can I repay you for your kindness?”
I’m about to tell her that she doesn’t owe me a thing, but then it occurs to me that this might be my best opportunity to get her alone. I look into her beautiful green eyes and she meets my gaze nervously. I need some time with just her to get her to open up...and then I’ll know if she wants me as intently as I wanted her from the second she showed up here.
“Have dinner with me,” I say. “I’m new to the neighborhood. It would be nice to have some company.”
“Just...just you and me?” she asks me anxiously. I can’t tell if she wants the answer to be yes or no.
“Yes. Just you and me,” I growl. I watch as her face splits into a smile, which she tries to hide almost right away.
“I’d like that very much,” she whispers. I feel a jolt inside me. Could she be any more perfect?
“Tomorrow night,” I say a husky tone to my voice. “You can spend the day with Benny and then I’ll cook for you. Is that okay?”
