“My God, they love you so much. Can’t you see that?”
Shelby wiped her eye before the tear fell. “I do. I know they do, but when I think of giving all of myself to them and letting them love me together…I imagine that day when C.J. was shot and nearly killed. “Shelby, I won’t lie. You were there with me, talking me through it, too. It was rough, and I put some distance between C.J. and I for a while and even with York and Hunter. They were patient but then C.J. sat me down and told me that I was letting my fears and things I have no control over dictate our future as a ménage couple. He explained that he loved me so much that he would do anything for me. That he or his brothers would die for me, if they had control over if and when the bad things happened. That’s what true love is all about. Sacrificing for one another and loving one another. Not taking life for granted. When the bad times happen and you’re scared, Kenneth, Bender, and Sam will be the first ones you turn to for help. I remember that day he was shot. I won’t ever forget the shock on his face, and the fear he felt as he tried to grab me and pull me away from Cameron. Even though he was shot, he still tried to save me.”
Shelby’s eyes filled up with tears.
“They love you so much, Shelby. Let them in. Let go and I promise you won’t regret it.”
Shelby smiled. “I love that we’re here together, and we’re safe,” Shelby told her.
“I love it, too. I wouldn’t want it to be any other way. It’s our new life, and we’re so blessed. So, my other question for you is how’s work?”
“Work? What do you mean?”
Caroline smiled and then leaned closer, whispering to her sister. “I mean working for your boyfriend? Kenneth seems like he’s into discipline and maybe likes to give orders,” she said and raised her eyebrows up and down. Shelby chuckled.
“He definitely likes things his way and can be demanding.”
“I bet he can, especially in the bedroom.”
Shelby laughed. “The three of them are…” She looked toward the doorway and stood up, taking her glass with her. She looked out and Caroline watched her.
She stood up, too, and they both looked out. Caroline saw her men talking with Shelby’s.
She hugged her sister’s arm and then brought her glass next to hers.
“To finding out what love really is and having it forever,” Caroline said. Shelby smiled and they clinked glasses then took a sip.
“And great sex ménage style,” Caroline whispered, and Shelby gasped.
“You little brat,” she said, and Caroline headed outside and right to Hunter, who pulled her close and kissed her deeply, letting his hand land on her ass, giving it a squeeze.
She watched Kenneth pull Shelby into his arms and right by his side. He kissed her temple and she took a sip of her wine and shyly looked at the others. Caroline hoped her sister would let go of the fear she had and allow her men to love her together. She knew firsthand how hard it was to let go like that and trust them, but the end result with men who loved her would surely help Shelby with her fears. There wasn’t any greater feeling in the world for Caroline like being made love to by Hunter, York, and C.J. at the same time. She would do anything for them just as they would do anything for her. She wanted that for Caroline, and hopefully with time she would put her fear aside and just let go.

Shelby still couldn’t get over the size of Kenneth, Sam, and Bender’s home. She had been in it numerous times and slept in their bed but was still in awe at the architectural design, the massive size of it, the furnishings, and the décor, and even the backyard and pool area. She had never seen anything more beautiful.
She was feeling tired, and she also felt a little buzz from the wine. She wasn’t drunk, but felt warm, relaxed, and very aroused as Sam pulled her into his arms and kissed her. When she felt the second set of hands unzip her dress, she knew her men were feeling just as aroused as she was. Sam released her lips and stepped back, letting her dress pool to the floor. “I didn’t say that, Sam,” she whispered as she ran her fingers through his hair and absorbed his serious expression. He even had muscles along his jaw and neck, too. She leaned closer and kissed his forehead then his nose and then his lips. He lowered her to the bed and then kissed her back, giving her all his love in that kiss. She felt it. She felt perfect and content.
