They lay together, the three of them on the bed. Jax caressed her inner thigh, and Jameson held her back against his chest as he caressed her breasts. She lay there completely naked and accepting of their love.

“You’re amazing, baby,” Jameson whispered.

“I love you both,” she said in return, and they both smiled.

Jax trailed a finger over her pussy then back between her thighs.

“I love your body. One day, you’ll be pregnant with our child, baby, and we’ll be a family.”

Mariana gasped and immediately tightened up.

“What did you say?”

Both men chuckled.

“Come on now, Sparks, you know we haven’t used any protection for over a week. There’s nothing to be scared about. We love you and we want you in our lives forever,” Jameson said.

“But a baby? We hardly know one another.”

“Mariana, we know one another very well. I’m sure that you’re the one for me and for Jameson. I’m not letting you leave us, not ever.”

He ran his palm across her belly, and she grabbed it, covering it with her own. Her heart soared at his words. She had been so worried that they would hate her or not want a baby with her.

The tear rolled down her cheek.

“Mariana, what’s wrong?” Jax asked, and now Jameson sat up so that he could look at her, too.

“I was so scared. I was afraid that you wouldn’t want a baby with me and that I would be a single mom. I worried about finding a job and not being able to support a baby on my own.”

“Sweetheart, you’re never going to be alone. You have us and we love you and when you get pregnant it is going to be the happiest moment of our lives, aside from the moment we met and fell in love with you,” Jameson said, and she burst into tears as she hugged them both. They of course chuckled.

Chapter 14

Mariana woke up early the following morning, made herself a cup of coffee, and grabbed a big fleece blanket before she headed onto the porch. It was a cold winter morning, around forty degrees, but there was a slight breeze that made it feel colder. She cuddled under the blanket and sat on the large swinging bench and stared out at the open land.

She felt at peace for the first time in many years. She had eyed this bench and this porch the moment she arrived and knew that she would have to take the opportunity to enjoy it. A little bit of wintery cold weather wouldn’t stop her. The only thing that had changed about that original thought was that her stay here with Jameson and Jax would be temporary. But last night, last night changed everything between them. She still didn’t know if she was pregnant or not, but she knew that they loved her. She loved them, too, and actually she felt like this place, their home here could be hers, too.

She heard the door squeak open. “Damn, baby, what are you doing out here all alone in the cold?” Jameson asked as he pulled his jacket tighter. He was fully dressed in his sweats, sweatshirt, and jacket and probably headed to work out in the barn. They had a bunch of things set up in there, and she wondered why they didn’t keep a gym inside of the house. She had asked Jax, and Jax told her that sometimes when they trained, they got a little wild and things got broken. She realized that they were both intense men and remained training like the commandos they once were in the military was a way of life. She liked that they did it. They had sexy, hot bodies because of it.

He joined her on the bench, and then the door opened again.

“You found her. Damn, I was worried,” Jax stated as he ran a hand through his hair.

“What? Did you think I’d take off on you or something?” she teased. Jameson bumped his shoulder into hers and smiled.

“Don’t get all sassy, you. I got a belt with your name on it.” He raised his eyebrow and winked. She felt her cheeks warm and Jax placed his arm over her shoulder. They stared out toward the open land in front of them.

“This is so beautiful. It’s quiet and all opened.”

“You should see it in the spring and summer when the flowers are in bloom. There’s a swimming pool out back and hot tub, too,” Jax said.

“A swimming pool?” she asked, feeling very excited. Both men chuckled. She wondered if they found her youthfulness to be silly sometimes. It was a stupid thing to think about, but it did pop into her mind.

“What were you thinking about when you were out here all alone?” Jameson asked.

She was quiet a moment as she cuddled between them. Her body felt warm now. They had that instant effect on her.
