“I don’t fucking know!” he yelled with his hands in the air.

“Corona honey, look in your pocket,” Nina said, and then she continued to breathe through the contractions as Corona looked at her as though she was crazy.

“My pocket?” he asked and then cursed. The others started making fun of him.

“Stop freaking out. We’ve got plenty of time. Did you call my dad?”

“Are you kidding me? It’s four o’clock in the morning,” Jessup stated as she slowly got down the front steps, and then Atlanta picked her up to put her in the truck. Even pregnant, they made her feel light as a feather.

They got into the truck.

“You have to call him. Believe me, he won’t care what time it is,” she said to them.

Corona sped down the driveway and missed the corner, hit the curb, and made the truck bump up and down.

“Corona!” they all yelled at him.

“Fuck.”

Nina reached out and rubbed his shoulder. “We’re okay, Corona. We have time. I’m not planning on having this baby in the truck and making my men deliver him.”

Jessup caressed her thigh and then pulled her close to his side. “We could deliver the baby if need be,” he informed her, and she shook her head.

“Not happening. We discussed this. You’ll never look at me down there the same way.” She gasped and had to breathe through another contraction. They were getting closer.

“Honey, we’re going to love you and especially this pretty, sweet pussy of yours forever,” Atlanta said to her from the passenger seat. He stared at her and licked his lips. He looked so damn sexy. How the hell could the man make her feel sexy and desirable right now when she was about to have a baby?

“You’re beautiful, Nina, and you’re going to make a great mommy,” he added.

Freeman kissed her cheek.

“Oh, God.” She gasped, the pain worse.

“We’re almost there. Just five more minutes,” Corona stated.

“Did you call Dominion?” she asked again.

“Yes,” Freeman said to her.

She exhaled. “Good.”

When they arrived at the hospital, Jessup picked her up and carried her through the emergency entrance. Her water broke, and the guys jumped back, but not Jessup. He held her close. “I’ve got you, baby. We’re having a baby.”

She smiled until she heard Corona demanding that they get a doctor, that his wife was in labor and they needed to hurry. She listened as Freeman handed them a piece of paper indicating the timing of the contractions, when they’d started, and what time the last one had ended in the truck before they hit the parking lot.

“Okay, gentlemen,” the nurse said. “I understand your excitement and worry. We’re going to take good care of your wife. Let’s get into this wheelchair, honey, and get you to delivery.”

Jessup placed Nina into the wheelchair, and when the nurse tried to take the handle to push her, he shook his head. “I got this. Let’s get there.”

Nina looked at the nurse and covered her hand. “Marines,” she whispered.

“Oh.” The nurse patted her hand. “Lucky woman. Let’s get you ready.”

Two hours later, Nina awoke in bed at the hospital, her men surrounding her and Corona holding their baby boy as Dominion touched his cheek. They both turned to look at her, and both of them smiled wide.

“Hey, beautiful,” Corona said, and she blushed.

She couldn’t get over the sight of her men looking so big and masculine and one of them holding such a tiny baby in his arms. They were gentle, compassionate, and loving.
