Will huffed and looked down, his hand picking at the grass beneath them. He looked so much younger at that moment, pouting like a small child that Aria barely managed not to laugh.

“Sofia asked me for advice; she was confused and needed reassurance from her daddy. And what did I do!? I stuttered and blushed like a damn fool!”

At the memory of Will from that morning, Aria finally cracked up and started to laugh once again, but seeing Will's solemn face quickly sobered her up.

“I am sorry, Will. I didn't mean to laugh at you.” she said, moving closer to the man, until she was straddling him.

“You are the best father in the world. Sure, this morning went a little different than you wanted it, but that doesn't mean that you are failing as a parent. She just took you by surprise, that's all; it happens to the best of us. Sofia loves you; she worships the ground you walk on, so believe me when I say that there is absolutely nothing to worry about, love.” Aria said, her hands caressing the man's cheeks.

Will kept looking at her during her little speech, his body relaxing the more Aria talked. After a moment he raised his hand from Aria’s waist to her jaw and pulled her in a slow kiss.

“And you? Do you worship me, baby?” he breathed into Aria’s mouth as his hands traveled down her clothed skin until it came to rest at the small of Aria’s back.

Aria smirked at the question, her tongue picking out to play with Will's upper lip and making the man growl lowly before she whispered,

“Always.”
