KEEP YOUR DICK CALM

NATHAN

When I said I’d go with Karina, I didn’t expect our first stop to be Risqué Dreams studio. Half-naked women walked from one corner of the room to the others while some stood around a long table at another corner with food. Their round cheeks, escaping those tight little pieces of fabric, captivated me.

My head tilted, trying to get a better look, but a tug against my tie caught my attention. My gaze drifted back to Karina. She pulled me forward, trying to keep me focused, not that I needed much help. Sure, the ladies in the room were beautiful, but none compared to the woman in front of me; especially not after I spent the night before giving all my secrets to her… and almost telling her how I felt.

“I need you to focus, Nathan.” She glanced back at me for a brief second as she shook her head.

Rolling my eyes, I kept them focused on her. “Can’t when I’m imagining you in what those ladies are wearing.”

“Are you sure it’s not just their bodies that are distracting you?”

“Not as much as yours.” My gaze trailed over her curves. “Besides, you should have known not to bring me here if you wanted me to focus.”

“This is where I need you,” she said.

“For what, though?” I asked.

“I have to sign a contract, but I told them I had to talk it over with my family lawyer.”

“Then why isn’t—oh.” Well fuck, I guess I kind of looked like a lawyer. I had the suit for it, but not the briefcase.

Stopping in her tracks, Karina turned to me. Her eyes traveled over my suit. She reached up and brushed some dust off of my shoulders. “I’m going to change things on it and after, I want you to look it over and read the name on the last page.”

“Something’s up and you don’t want to tell me about it,” I expressed my suspicions.

“We can talk about it after.” A smile tugged at her lips. “I just want you to follow my lead.”

I smirked, proud.

She sounded just like her father. And not to my surprise, it didn’t stop there. We walked into the office, where a man sat skimming through papers. His eyes drifted in our direction, a smile forming on his lips. Karina made her way over to him, sitting in the seat right across from him. I followed and stood behind her as they greeted one another and quickly got to business. He handed her the contract, to which Karina beckoned me closer with a finger.

I hovered over her shoulder. My eyes scanned the document. A five-year contract, hardly any vacation days. Nothing but work and travel. All for a significant increase in salary, but there was no free time for her. She flipped through, reaching the last page. Down at the bottom left was a name I hadn’t seen in a while. Signed without any mistakes was Dmitry Vasiliev, her father.

“We need more time to think about this.” I finally spoke. Reaching over, I closed the contract. “And depending on the outcome, Karina may have to do business elsewhere.”

“But Mr. Vasiliev has already agreed to these conditions. He had written it himself. Please, reconsider.”

“I like the idea of more time and being able to choose where I would like to continue, whether that be here or in your east coast location.” She smiled, looking at the man. “I’m sure my father would rather me live much closer to him.”

The man across the desk blinked twice and nodded. “Yes, of course. He most definitely would. Then, Miss Vasiliev, please take all the time you need.”

They were all so easy to manipulate.

The man leaned over his desk, folding his hands together. “However, you are still scheduled for a photo shoot today in...” He glanced at the watch on his wrist. “Ten minutes, so I suggest you change.”

Karina simply nodded before getting up from the chair. I wondered what was going through her mind, but I knew I could ask her later. She headed for the door, and I followed on after her.

“Guess you actually will get to see me in those outfits.” Her eyes drifted over me. “Just don’t get too jealous.”

“Why would I get jealous?”

I shouldn’t have asked.

Three sets of photos later and a quick change of clothing; Karina dragged her feet back to the far corner of the room. I leaned against the wall behind one of the five standing lights. In front of them was a white backdrop where Karina stood in a red satin robe, covering her black laced lingerie, wrapped in the arms of a beefy blonde guy in matching red boxers. His hands wandered far too close to Karina’s waistline for my comfort, and his mouth was inches from her neck.

My eyes narrowed as I clenched my jaw. I wanted nothing more than to rip his fingers from Karina. But this was a professional place. Regardless of how painful the burning sensation in my chest got, I needed to keep my cool. Crossing my arms, I tried to keep my twitching fingers steady.

I wanted to be in his position. Wrapped around Karina like a warm blanket, making her smile and giggle like she had been doing. Only with me, it’d be real; not that fake one she gave him.

“Stop, this is all wrong.” The photographer halted the two from going any further. Thank goodness.

“I don’t feel it. I don’t feel the connection. Where is the emotion, the tension?”

I raised my hand, catching Karina’s attention. A smile grew on her lips, a real one, as she chuckled.

The photographer whipped his head around, locking his eyes on me. “You.” He glanced up and down my body.

I held my hands up in defense. “I’ve done nothing, I swear.”

His eyes darted between Karina and me. Something was brewing in his mind because he started smiling. “Yes, you will.” He snapped his fingers. “Get this man undressed.”

“I’m no model.” I protested as a pair of hands pressed against my back, pushing me away from the area.

“You are now!” He called out. My attention flickered to Karina. She shrugged, giving me an apologetic smile. I stood my ground, making the person behind struggle to push me.

“I can just take my clothes off here.” All eyes were on me as the last word left my mouth. I cleared my throat. “On second thought, the changing in the room sounds better.”

Allowing myself to be pushed into a room, I loosened my tie and pulled it apart, placing it down on a chair. I took off my blazer, unbuttoned my shirt, and did the same with those as well. Slipping my shoes and socks off, I pulled down my pants and placing them alongside everything else. I grabbed the boxers they’d given me and replaced my own with them.

As I headed back to the corner where the photoshoot was taking place, I ignored the attention they gave me on my way there, keeping my arms crossed over my chest upon reaching the set.

Karina’s attention instantly snapped at me. I smirked, raising my eyebrows playfully at her.

“Wonderful.” The photographer smiled. I glanced over at him as he stepped closer. His hands caressed my arms. “Yes, you might do perfectly. Now go, stand behind Miss Vasiliev.”

I nodded, following his orders. Standing behind Karina, I kept a good foot of distance between us. Although I kept my attention on the back of her head, I could still catch her curves in my line of vision.

Flashing lights caught me by surprise. “You, what’s your name?”

I looked over at the photographer who called out to me. “Nathan James.”

“Nathan, I need you to do something. You have this lovely, beautiful girl in front of you.” He slouched, tilting his head back. “I need more than what you’ve just given me five seconds ago. Touch her, kiss her, anything.”

The photographer didn’t have to ask me twice. I leaned in close to Karina’s ear. “Remember, you wanted this.”

Wrapping my arm around her waist, I closed the distance between us. Her body pressed to mine. Even though the material was thin, I could feel her heat radiating against me. She turned her head, her fingers crawling up my arm and around my neck, pulling me inches from her face.

“I do this for a living. Keep your dick calm.” She whispered with a smile.

“I can’t exactly keep it calm with you pressed up on me.”

Karina leaned back closer to me as if she could. “I’m sorry, does this bother you?” she smiled.

“Yes!” the photographer and I said at the same time.

She pulled her face away, but I kept her body close to mine.

“If you move, everyone is going to see just how much it bothers me,” I muttered to her.

She rolled her eyes and turned as she kept herself against me. My body shivered with delight at her sudden movement. Her arms wrapped around my neck. “Better?”

“Worse actually.” I lowered my head, brushing my lips against her neck. I reached for her leg and held it by my waist.

“Nathan.” She gasped.

“And here I was going to be good. You know, keep the tension between us to a minimum.” I shrugged, keeping my eyes on her. “But I don’t think that can happen.”

“Why? Because your dick won’t let you?”

“Miss Vasiliev.” The photographer called out to her. She glanced over and I kept my eyes on the goosebumps along her neck. “The other pose we talked about.”

Karina nodded and looked at me. “I’d lower my hands if I were you.” She said with a smirk as she slid her body around me. I lowered my hands, instantly covering my predicament.

One of her hands slid over my chest, while the other one traveled down to the hem of my—I tensed up. Her fingers trembled and I could have sworn they were making their way farther into my boxers. Freezing in place, I felt her chuckle nervously against my back.

Fucking tease. I’d get her back for it.

“Perfect!” The photographer jumped with joy and turned away from us.

Karina dropped her hands from my body and created space. I turned. Licking my lips, I glanced over the curves of her body. There were plenty of things I wanted to do to her. I drifted my attention upwards, catching the desire that burned in her eyes.

And I knew she wanted me, just as much as I wanted her.
