Jayme licked and kissed his way down his torso. When Jayme got to his stomach, Jayme put a hand to his chest and pushed him back. He leaned back on his elbows, and watched as Jayme undid his jeans and pulled them and his underwear down his thighs. Jayme gave him another awesome blowjob, and Tripp returned the favor.

CHAPTER SEVEN

Jayme

JAYME AND TRIPP walked in the front door after a long, exhausting day at work, when Jayme’s cell phone started ringing. He sighed and pulled it out of his pocket. He looked at the screen to see that it was Mallory calling.

Wondering what she wanted, he answered the call. “Hey Mal, what’s up?”

“I’m pregnant.”

“Excuse me? What now?”

Tripp looked back at him with a frown on his handsome face. Jayme stood in the middle of the living room, frozen in place, as Mallory’s words hit him square in the chest.

“I’m pregnant,” she repeated.

“Well, it’s not fucking mine!” he blurted.

“Jayme! I’m eight weeks, it’s around the same time we last had sex.”

“And I pulled out!”

“That’s not a hundred percent effective, Jayme,” Mallory argued.

“Are you fucking with me? I swear to God Mallory--“

“Don’t be an asshole. Why would I lie about this?”

“You’ve lied to me plenty of times, the question is why wouldn’t you?”

“I wouldn’t lie about this. This is something I’ve wanted for forever.”

“But I don’t! How could you do this to me?”

“It takes two to make a baby, Jayme.”

“You tricked me into it, that doesn’t count.”

“You’re being ridiculous.”

Jayme couldn’t take any more of the conversation, he launched his phone at the wall, where it shattered and left a dent in the drywall. Tripp was on him a second later, grabbing him by his shoulders.

“What’s going on?” Tripp demanded.

“Mallory’s pregnant,” he rasped.

Tripp’s face fell. “Shit.”

Jayme’s whole body was vibrating with anger. He couldn’t believe she did this to him.

“Are you sure it’s yours?” Tripp asked softly.

“She said she’s eight weeks. That was around the last time we had sex.”

“And like you said, you pulled out. I think it’d be a fucking miracle if she got pregnant from you pulling out. I know it’s not the most effective birth control, but come on, that would be a long shot.”

Jayme stared at him, nodding slowly. That was what he thought too. “You’re saying that she could have been cheating on me?”

“It’s possible.”

His stomach rolled. Not only did he find out that his ex-wife is pregnant, but now there was also the possibility that she had been cheating on him; and had gotten pregnant by the other guy. Which meant she was having unprotected sex with another man. Which meant he should probably go and get tested.

He felt the panic attack coming on. His body started to tingle, and he couldn’t pull in enough air. His stomach churned angrily, and he knew he was going to be sick. He tore away from Tripp and raced up the stairs to the bathroom where he lost his breakfast and lunch.

A minute later, Tripp was at his side. Tripp sat on the edge of the tub and rubbed his back while he continued to throw up. Tripp murmured softly how everything was going to be okay and they would figure this out together, that he wasn’t alone.

Once he felt like his stomach was done revolting, he flushed and closed the lid. He got up from where he was squatting in front of the bowl and turned to sit on the lid of the toilet. He dropped his head in his hands and rocked. He felt like he was going to crawl out of his skin. He hated panic attacks. He hated the loss of control over his body.

“What can I do?” Tripp asked quietly.

“I have...Klonopin in my top dresser drawer. Can you get me one?”

“Absolutely.”

Tripp left the bathroom, returning a few seconds later with the pill. Tripp handed it to him, before filling up the cup on the sink with water. He took the pill he had in case of emergencies like this.

Tripp sat back down on the side of the tub. “This was a panic attack, huh?”

He nodded, his head still in his hands.

“Was this the worst it could be?”

“Pretty much.”

“The Klonopin will help though?”

“Yeah, it takes a little while to kick in, but it will help. Then I’ll be passing out.”

“From the Klonopin?”

“That and the let down from the panic attack. Knocks me out every time.”

“How about you brush your teeth, then get out of your work clothes and get in bed?”

He nodded again and pulled in a deep breath and blew it out slowly. His stomach was still upset, but he didn’t feel like he was going to puke again. He shakily got to his feet and went about brushing his teeth. When he was done, Tripp followed him into his room, and helped him get out of his work gear.
