"" She spat and slammed the phone down after ending the call.
She picked it up and threw it at the wall.
The phone shattered and I turned around and saw her crying.
She didn't even try to stop them, she just let them fall freely.
I ran over to her and pulled her into my chest.
I held her in my arms and she continued to cry on my shoulder.
""Shh, it's gonna be okay.
"" I whispered into her ear.
We sat there for about 10 minutes and she stopped.
""Lets go back to the pool.
It might be the only fun I will ever have for awhile.
Or forever actually.
"" I nodded and we headed back.
She was extremely quiet and that glint in her eye was gone.
Every time she was happy, her eyes sparkled brightly.
But now, they hold sorrow and misery.
She looked terrible.
When we got to the pool, she jumped right in.
Probably to cover up the tears that were escaping again.
She did her little fake laugh she does when something isn't going right and she doesn't want anyone to know.
Axel looks at me and nods then wraps his arms around her and pulls her close.
