It tookthree damn days of camping outside Jumpin’ Java before I finally caught sight of her. I was leaning on my car, right across from the exit, when she came out with her morning coffee. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.

“Sebastian? What are you doing here?” she said, eyes filled with confusion and a touch of trepidation.

“Little bird, please don’t be afraid of me. Will you sit with me for a few minutes while you have your coffee?”

“I don’t know…”

“Raven, please. Five minutes and if you still want me to go, I’ll respect that.”

“Okay, there’s a free table over there.”

We sat at the table, facing each other, and I tried to figure out the best way to explain just how much we wanted her already. Determined not to waste any more time, I took a breath and just went with my gut.

“Raven, I know that everything the other night was new to you and, I imagine, it’s been very overwhelming for you. We wanted you to know that it meant something to us. We were serious when we told you we had no interest in a hook up.”

“I’ve never done anything like that, Seb. I’m not just talking about kinky stuff. I’ve never been in a situation where I ended up mostly naked with two men I barely know. I don’t know how to feel about that. I’m embarrassed that I got so caught up in things.”

“I get it, I really do. Maybe we pushed you too far and, for that, I’m truly sorry. We want to pursue a relationship with you. This is our life, Raven, and we don’t give a fuck what anyone else thinks. We live it our way and we want you to be part of it too. Will you have dinner with us tonight? The three of us can talk and figure out what, if anything, comes next.”

“Okay, Seb. I’m not guaranteeing anything, but we can talk more.”

“Perfect. I’ll message you later with the details, okay?”

“Alright. Right now, though, I have to get to work. I have a meeting for department heads and I can’t be late.”

We stood up and I stooped to kiss her cheek.

“We’ll see you tonight, Raven. Have a great day.”

I watched as she walked away, feeling at least a little bit relieved. Now I just had to talk to Chase and figure out the best way to approach things. At some point, we also had to tell her that Club Inhibition was our baby. I wasn’t sure that was going to go over particularly well. I hopped in my car and headed towards home. We only had a few hours to figure things out.
