After our brush with Viktor and the sexy romp in the bathtub with Angelina, the three of us had collapsed into bed. Our mate was going to be extremely demanding when it came to sex. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that I didn’t trust Luca and Salvatore to explain everything to me. I knew they would. This was something I was compelled to research myself. Once I’d got it straight in my head, then I could ask them about the details.
“We understand, bella.”
I smiled with genuine affection at their words in my head. I was certain there wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do for me.
I knew they’d respond, so I got there first. “Right back at you.”
“Let me drive.”
I glanced at Luca and noted the pained expression in his eyes.
“Why?” I asked, turning the keys over in my hands.
“You drive like you’re in Formula One or something. You take too many chances,” Salvatore said.
I threw back my head and howled with laughter. “So, let me get this straight. You kill demons for a living, and have so many abilities at your disposal that you’re invincible, yet you’re afraid of a little human woman’s driving?”
“Yes,” they responded.
“Okay, okay. You guys win, even though I think you’re nuts.” I handed the keys to Luca.
