“You have to break it again,” Niko stated.
“Yes, in two places, and I’ll need her to shift right after.” Jax looked at us both. “She won’t want to, and Leo isn’t here to force the shift.”
I gasped; forcing a shift was deeply frowned upon.
“How long would it take her to heal without shifting?” Niko asked.
“Even with our advanced healing, having to heal three different injuries would take at least three weeks, if not more.”
Niko stood tall. “I’ll do it.”
“I don’t know if you can.” Jax cupped the back of his neck. “DJ would be the next in line while Leo is gone.”
“Give me a moment to make a phone call.” Niko pulled his phone out, tapping a number as he walked out.
