“Maybe,” Andi mumbled as he teasingly brushed his lips against hers again.

“Maybe?” Devyn asked as he released her hands.

“There’s a good chance that I might have missed you,” Andi admitted as she wrapped her arms around him and shifted closer only to moan when his hands slid over her thighs.

“Only a good chance?” Devyn asked as his fingertips caressed her skin.

“Mmmhmmm,” she murmured softly only to lick her lips when his lips found her throat and his hands found her hips.

“What if I told you that I had to leave so that I could send your project to Roman Palms so that they could implement the changes you came up with immediately?” he asked, smiling against her throat when she went still.

“Really?” Andi asked, pulling back so that she could look at him.

Chuckling, Devyn leaned back in and kissed the tip of her nose. “Really.”

“You liked my report?” she found herself asking as her lips pulled up into a shy smile.

“Yes, I did,” Devyn assured her with a smile. “So much so, that I want you to do the same thing for the rest of Carta Hotels.”

“There’s so much to do…” Andi mumbled absently, her mind already beginning to work out all of the things that she needed to do and-

“How long will it take you to pack?” came the question that had her frowning in confusion.

“Pack for what?”

“Boston,” Devyn said, reaching up to brush his fingertips along her jaw. “They found something in their audit and they’re panicking.”

“What did they find?” Andi asked, biting back a disappointed sigh at the realization that she’d have to wait to start on this until after they figured out what was going on in Boston.

“That’s what we’re going to find out. Make sure you dress warm. They just had a blizzard,” Devyn said, leaning back in to kiss her forehead.

“Really?” Andi asked, immediately perking up at the mention of snow, her disappointment momentarily forgotten at the promise of finally seeing snow.

Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad after all.
