I didn’t look at Wyatt’s group as I left. I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction. I’d rather die than let him know he’d rattled me. Fucker.

Knowing that I had something to hold over his head wasn’t as satisfying as I’d thought. All I could think about as I drove back home was how satisfying it would have been to smash his face into the bar. He deserved it for so many reasons.
