“I’ll tell you everything, but first, I’m sorry for the asshole I was when I thought your father was responsible for everything I went through.” He planted a kiss on her forehead. “How can I make it up to you?”

She smiled as she went on her toes to kiss him. “Take me away like you promised. I missed you.”

A mere kiss and he was hard for her. He felt his profound desire, deep inside his core, making him lose control. His need to hold her, touch every bit of her, and be buried deep inside her was so overwhelming, he found it hard to stay still as her lips teased him in a devouring kiss.

Their tongues tangled in a never-ending battle as he pulled her to him before flattening her back against the wall. He fervently sucked on her lips like he was starved.

“I missed you, Rana.” She gasped against his lips, riding up to roll her crotch against his body.

He peeled his lips away to explore her, and she pulled on the robe she had on to expose her hardened bud. She moaned, hugging his head as he took her pebbled nipple into his warm mouth. He hungrily sucked as he compressed the other nipple between his thumb and index finger making her groan with sweet pain. She gasped in response, gripping his shoulders as he went lower.

She fisted her palm on top of his head as he went down on his knees in front of her, following the beautiful scent of her arousal deep inside her. He looked up at her, “I will give you anything you want.”

“I want you.” Her voice shook.

He ran his palm along her inner thigh, lifting one foot off the floor, opening her up for his invasion. He lapped up her sweetness building up her peak. She let out a feral cry as she came, making him harden more.

She gasped when he stood up, pulling her feet off the floor, guiding her legs to wrap around him. She arched and stretched as he filled her, just the way she wanted it from the time they pleasured each other over the phone.

As he built up the rhythm, he felt her deepest point, and as she raked her nails on his back, he felt his ultimate climb for pleasure. When he came, it blasted through him.

He carried her to her bed and collapsed as he kept them joined as she continued to spasm and convulse, making him blast out again.

He kissed her sweaty forehead. “You are so hot.” He nipped on her neck as he melded her soft body to him, and he cocooned her in his arms. “I’ll make sure we are together all the time.”

Chapter 25

Nami and Rana spent a lot of time together even as he prepared for the international boxing championship. Days after he got back from visiting his parents, they were still discussing what happened to their fathers. She was taken aback at how small incidents turned into a huge wedge leading up to the rivalry the families felt for over a decade.

Determined to bring their families together, they schemed and talked about when it would be a good time to tell Nami’s dad as she was somehow worried her father would be upset if he found out. They agreed to implement their plans when they had a semester break.

They even talked about the possibility of not being together for a semester. He had joked about being an exchange student for Cambridge so they could hang out in London.

She was in the middle of her project meeting when she saw her mother was calling. Being in the middle of the discussion, she sent the call to voicemail, but her mother called back immediately.

At that point, Nami knew it had to be something urgent. “Hi, Ma, what’s going on?”

“Nami… your father, he is… in the hospital.” Her mother’s shaky voice made her heart nosedive into her stomach.

“What happened, Ma?” She walked away from her group and out of the library. “How is he doing now?”

She could tell her mother had been weeping. “He is okay now. The doctors are suspecting a silent heart attack. Under observation. But—”

“But what, Ma?” Nami was feeling all the wrong signals going off.

“There is a fraud allegation against the company, and if…” Her mother struggled to speak and just as her mother’s voice trailed off, Nami’s breathing became ragged.

Worst of the worst thoughts passed through her. “Ma, I’ll take the next flight out and come to London.”

“No!” Her mother’s voice was firm. “Stay where you are.”

Nami’s eyes widened in surprise. “Why? I want to see Daddy.”

Her mother sighed. “We don’t know who we are dealing with. You stay put, and I will tell you what to do next.”

“Okay, where is Naani? How is she doing?” She was worried about how her grandma was handling the situation.

“She is at home with your brother and uncle’s family. I didn’t tell her anything about the heart attack yet.” Her mother sounded weak.
