She stepped out of the shadows and walked toward the group as Ramya moved around with the entire group looking for her. “I’m here.” She waved to her cousin.

Ramya looked ecstatic. “Nami, you are the winner! You can kiss anyone on campus.”

Her cousin’s words made Nami blush as she shook her head. “I’m pretty sure I’m disqualified. I was standing way over there.”

The stunning Greek god-like-looking guy was standing to the side with a few others, watching the commotion, and that made her skin tingle with a strange awareness. She saw him walk toward them as she pointed to where she stood all along, so the game organizers could confirm if the location was within the game boundaries.

“Why don’t you just pick a guy you want to kiss while they measure,” Ramya teased, and Nami’s cheeks flared with embarrassment since they were surrounded by boys she had never met before.

“No. I’m good.” She was looking in Ramya’s direction, but she could feel the guy’s eyes on her.

“Don’t be a spoiled sport now,” Ramya hissed under her breath and added, looking at the group, “If you had to pick a guy, just for fun, who would it be?”

Nami could only shake her head, but the other girls joined in and started cheering her to share her person of choice. She smiled at everyone, half embarrassed, the rest amused as her eyes met his over another guy’s head.

“Rana?” One girl shrieked. “She chose you, Rana. Will you kiss her? She is new to Simha.” There was laughter all around, and the cheering continued, but it was lost in the loud ringing in her ears.

Nami watched as the guy stepped close to her and extended his hand out. “I’m Rana.”

“Rana, are you serious? How come you didn’t agree to kiss me?” A girl wailed in the background.

“You are not the winner. She is.” His hand was still extended, and Nami slowly placed hers in his large and rough one.

“I’m Namrata.”

“Nice to meet you.” He flashed a boyish grin her way. “So, you want to kiss me?”

Her eyes widened, and she pulled her hand away at the abrupt question. And before she could respond, Ramya spoke up. “Yes, she wants to kiss you.” Her cousin laughed, making heat creep to her cheeks. “She is my cousin and new to Simha. This is her first Seek and Kiss game.”

“Stop it, Ramya.” As Nami looked horrified at her cousin’s remark, Ramya laughed, thoroughly enjoying herself, she felt a gentle tug on her hand. She turned as he stepped closer to her, bending to whisper, “I don’t mind if you want to kiss me.”

“They are kissing,” a few girls called out in unison, and that excitement combined with the warmth from his breath turned up the heat, and she gripped his hand harder. Her other hand fisted in the soft material of his T-shirt, and she looked up into his eyes.

His eyes were intense, and he had a smug look on his stunning face. “Kiss me.” His words were playful, and the spark in his eyes teased her over the edge. She felt a rush of adrenaline as she slipped her hand around his neck as she went up on her toes to brush her lips with his.

Like all hell broke loose, the group cheered loudly, but she was lost in the kiss. What started off as a way to save face had become an undeniable urge to keep kissing him. The guy was hot, and his playful words worked her up.

His lips were soft and cajoling. He teased her lips apart slowly, his hand holding her face, cocooning their locked lips from everyone’s eyes. Her brain was in overdrive, trying to process every single sensation she felt, but she was overwhelmed.

It was a strange mix of excitement, anxiety, and thrill, like she was on a crazy rollercoaster ride as she pulled back, her eyes locked with his. She had no words to say and knew they would have been lost in the cheering happening around them.

“Welcome to Simha!” He chuckled, and the crowd continued to cheer.

“It’s outside the game boundary. She is not the winner.” Nami heard the game organizer call out as she stood with the group, acting cool about what just happened when she was reeling from the kiss.

“What?” Nami heard a girl's voice and turned in her direction. It was the same girl who wanted to be kissed by him. “Rana, you kissed the wrong girl. You have to kiss me.”

Nami stood frozen as Rana stepped toward the other girl. A strange burn started inside her at the thought of his lips touching the girl. Her breath was coming fast as his fingers slipped into the girl's hair, angling her face up to him. His eyes were on her face, the girl's eyes were closed in anticipation of the kiss, and like a maniac, Nami was staring at them.

A shudder started inside her, and every nerve hummed with rebellious intent to stop him. How dare he kiss another girl with that mouth that worshiped hers just a few moments ago! She dug her nails into her palm and tried hard to look away but could not.

He is not yours to stop him from kissing another girl.

Just as she was about to look away, unable to bear the very sight in front of her, he looked right at Nami, and time froze between them. He held her gaze with that intense look in his eyes like he was taunting her. That very look made her hot all over, and the post effect she had from when he kissed her was rampant in that moment.

Her breath trapped in her throat, and like she had no control over her senses, she glared back at him as if showing her contempt.

A lazy smile appeared on his face before he tilted the girl’s head lower and planted a kiss on her forehead. The sound of sheer shock from the crowd resonated as he walked away, his eyes locked with Nami’s, a new energy buzzing between them even as the crowd tried to cheer up the wailing girl who didn’t get the kiss she hoped for.
