Either I’ve been bitten by a radioactive spider, or I’m gaining a sixth sense for the presence of the Lost Boys in my apartment.

I don’t bother opening my eyes when I feel myself waking up. Instead, I roll over onto my side and let out a long, loud sigh of disapproval so that whoever it is that’s currently making noise in my living room knows that I’mtired, damn it.

I have every right to be, after all. My ass still stings a little bit from last night, and it wasn’t like I got to bed early. Not with how much Arlo wanted to stick around.

The noises from my apartment continue, and Ireallyhope this isn’t becoming a permanent thing. I like my sleep too much for that.

“Get out,” I say, my voice barely audible in the apartment. “I’m sleeping.”

“I didn’t wake you up,” the man replies, and instantly I know that it’s Isaac. Something in my stomach twists, warming my chest, and I beat the feeling back down as quickly as I can. I’m still not so sure Iwantto be happy when they show up. Or that they’re stalking me. I want them to respect my autonomy.

Though playing Arlo’s pet last night probably hasn’t gone a long way in making that clear to the Lost Boys, and for a moment, I want to throttle myself for how I get when they’re around.

“Go away anyway.”

“Nah.” He says it so casually like it was a suggestion rather than a demand for him to leave. But then again, it’s pretty obvious that Isaac either struggles with boundaries or can’t give two shits about them.

So I roll onto my stomach and press my face into my pillow, covers up around my shoulders, with all intentions of going back to sleep. There’s more than one way to prove to him that my word islaw, after all. At least in my own apartment. And while I wouldn’t mind getting up if he knocked normally or did something liketext me, I definitely feel like making a point here.

That is until the blanket is ripped off of me, and his weight settles on my hips. Before I can move, he has one hand between my shoulder blades and pushes down, a low chuckle in his throat. “Really?” Isaac purrs, skimming his fingers down my bare skin. I fell asleep only in a bralette and shorts last night, and it gives him access to most of me, especially when I’m on my stomach. “You tell me to go away; then you give methis?”

“I’m sleeping.”

“You’re begging me to fuck you like this. Want me tobreedyou with you on your knees and me behind you?” His hands fall to my hips teasingly. “I could. I would. Ireally fuckingwant to.”

I kind of want him to as well because when he says it like that, I can only imagine all kinds of unnecessary roughness and the best kind of soreness when I get up for real.

But I’m still determined that I’m going tostay strongand teach them that I’m not theirpet. Not…completely. Notallthe time, at least. Even though Isaac is nearly impossible to say no to. Especially with how much my heart seems to melt around him.

I hate that I can’t separate him from the kid he used to be. And I kind of hate that, after all these years, I still have the biggest crush on him. All while I’m gainingstrongfeelings for the other Lost Boys as well, even though it is totally against my will and not of my own volition, Isaac is different.

My feelings for Isaac have been there all along.

That doesn’t stop me from growling at him and burying my face in my pillow, my arms circling it so I can more convincingly lie on my bed like I’m going to sleep.

“You don’thaveto get up. And you’re not quiet, so I’m not worried about you liking it,” he teases, thumbs skimming over the skin of my hips until he can dig in and rub circles over my hip bones.

As he continues, I can’t help it. I sigh, my body relaxing into his touch because it hasdefinitelybeen too long since I’ve gotten any kind of massage, and I could so get used to this. I could get used to the way he touches me, the way his fingers dig perfectly into my muscles as he makes his way up my back.

And especially the way his lips and teeth find the side of my neck, nipping and licking along my pale skin hard enough to leave a mark.

“I’m…sleeping,” I say again because I refuse to give up the ghost even though I kind of want him to make good on his threat.

“You’re not even pretending,” Isaac fires back, rolling his hips against mine. I can feel that he’s not unaffected by this either, judging by the brush of his cock against my ass. “Youlikeit when I do this, don’t you?”

Of course, I do.

He rolls his hips into me again, chuckling. “Perfect when you aren’t even trying to be, aren’t you, princess?” His voice is low and growling. A husky purr that sets off the right signals in my brain for me to want him to do more than just massage my back and shoulders.

He moves; his hands find my shorts to pull them down my legs and off before sitting between my thighs instead of across them. I certainly don’tstophim when his mouth finds the dip of my spine and his fingers slide along my slit.

“Do you know what I think?” he murmurs, pressing two fingers into me to scissor them apart.

“That I’m about to fall asleep?” I still haven’t opened my eyes, though my thighs tense around his hand as he fingers me open.

“That next time, I won’t just drive myself over to wake you up like this. Do you know what you look like right now?”

I take a deep breath, trying to keep my voice neutral as I say, “Like I’m asleep?”
